Unicorn painting party
Photos and Videos
Hi. We had Bri paint a mural on my son's bedroom wall. It started as a shark, but then grew to include a manta ray, Pikachu submarine, jellyfish, octopus, two clown fish, anemones, and some coral. You should be able to see it in her photos...my computer is not allowing me to upload a photo. We loved working with her -- she had already sketched out the shark and submarine before she came, which saved time, and she really collaborated with my son to make sure he got exactly what he was looking for. I highly recommend working with her!Sep 22, 2017VerifiedBri's Brushes's reply
Thanks Susan! It was a joy painting for you and Matt!
Bri did an amazing job and we would definitely hire her again. My kid is obsessed with fish and we were looking for someone to paint a mural. We gave her very little guidance beyond that basic idea. Bri ran with it and did this beautiful painting that you can see below. She was kind, hard-working, communicated well and her rate was affordable. Everyone in my family is so so happy with the final product. Thank you Bri!May 10, 2019Bri's Brushes's reply
Thanks, Peter! I had so much fun painting this mural!
I have had experience working on several large-scale art projects with Bri including a wall mural and painting handmade carousel animals. She is very talented, has many years of experience, and a passion for art. She is also great with people and a great choice for painting parties.Sep 2, 2017

Bri helped me host a mermaid themed 5th birthday party for my daughter. She created the painting design, provided all materials and helped the kids (about 16) complete their painting. She was fantastic!Nov 25, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It's very difficult to accurately quote a job without first having a discussion about the project. Therefore, any rates I quote in my initial contact are based on a very basic level of work. This means that my pricing depends on the project, with particular regard to how long it will take to complete and the degree of difficulty involved. Things to consider are the material that's being painted on, indoor vs outdoor, intricacy of the design, whether a site visit prior to completing the work is required, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to see any inspiration photos the customer may have, and have a conversation about what they're looking for overall. Next I like to create a small sample of an overall design idea, and share this with the customer. we can discuss alterations or special requests at that time. finally we discuss a timeline and a more specific price range for the product, and choose a date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a BA in studio art and an MS in marketing. I have taken art workshops at local art centers as well to help stay sharp and learn new techniques.
