Absolutely marvelous!!!! He cooked this brunch for my bachelorette party. Me and my friends sat around in our PJs and we're served an incredible five course meal with mimosas. It was just wonderful the food was Exquisite the displays were professional. Such great quality ingredients flavors out of control good. Would absolutely hire him again for any occasion. I wish he could cater my wedding in Uganda.

Chef Gerard was easy to work with- very responsive and offered great options. He provided food for a girls night get together. Everything was well prepared and very tasty. One thing I would suggest as someone with a gluten sensitivity- don’t pack GF items with wheat based items. My sensitivity is mild, but that could be problematic for someone with a lower tolerance for gluten. Overall, good experience. I will hire him again.

Chef Gerard provided a truly 5-star private dinner for a birthday party at my home. The food was spectacular and I'm still thinking about the delicious surf and turf and chocolate sin dessert....just incredible. I loved that everything had great flavor and worked well together and nothing was overwhelming. Just perfect. The presentation was elegant and the personal menus were beautiful. Thank you for making the event so easy for me (the host) and a wonderful, culinary delicacy for the group. Chef Gerard was a pleasure to work with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is per person not by the hour. Groceries are a separate charge. Which leaves you less stressed and confused. For larger events requiring additional assistants, a small fee will be applied per assistant to ensure seamless service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My initial conversation with new clients is to gain an understanding of the cuisine they would like as well as the reason they are celebrating/ needing the services of a private chef, to help produce a better experience. I then create a menu with dietary restrictions in mind. We are not limited by a set of menus. This event is all about you as much as it is about my craft.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, located in Boulder, Co. I also have several years in a high end country club, chain restaurants, and corporate dining.
