- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No matter how long you are in any particular field you have to stay up on new trends and techniques. I recently attended a class on becoming an expert on airbrush make-up and techniques with airbrushing including highlighting and contouring.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew I loved glamour and beauty since I was a little girl. I always loved trying new looks on my friends and family members as well as always doing my friends make-up for school dances and events. My first job out of high school was with MAC cosmetics, and even after getting my business degree and trying other career paths, I knew my true passion is make-up.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The bulk of what I do is make-up for engagement pictures, weddings, and pregnancy pictures. I also offer services in makeup lessons, personal shopping and skincare consultations.
