Introduction: I give you full focus and attention explaining during class how to best do CPR or a modified version if needed so noone leaves class unsuccessful. My goal is to have fun learning and to teach so my students have the knowledge they need. I enjoy teaching in a relaxed, yet structured way that best helps my students learn. I teach because I enjoy it and believe in what I teach makes a difference.

Having had a bad experience with a CPR instructor some years back, I was pleasantly surprised with Terri Jackson's calm, patient and thoroughly helpful approach to teaching me potentially life-saving CPR techniques. Instead of feeling criticized for taking time to understand and correctly demonstrate the CPR procedures, my confidence was bolstered by Terri's encouraging coaching. Her success with a nervous student like me was proved a few months after I completed the class, when I was able to spring into action without hesitation when I was out of state on vacation and responded to a call from hotel management for someone to administer CPR to an unconscious young man. More than just learning the technique, I think what Terri excels at is instilling confidence in her students that they will be ready if an emergency arises that requires CPR. I enthusiastically recommend Terri Jackson CPR classes.

Terri is Very thorough.....works to get you into one of her classes or will do private instruction. She is patient and knowledgable and is the only person I go to for my CPR certification!!

Terri is a phenomenal instructor. She demonstrates every step and ask if you have questions at the end of each step she's not just one of those instructors who does the whole presentation and then ask if you have questions at the end. There is a visual and actual hands on experience. She makes learning CPR fun and creative while giving you an educational experience. I would totally recommend her to anyone who is willing to learn CPR it's truly a life-saving experience.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in charging a fair price for your learning and my teaching. I charge $40.00 per person. This is very competitive compared to community colleges and other organizations.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to my customers and find out what they are looking for and what the expectations are. I like to work within their deadlines and be sure we both have contact information in case of changes or emergencies. I go out of my way to accommodate their needs as far as deadlines and place of training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed EMT-Paramedic with 6 years on Chicago Fire Dept. More than 25 years in Emergency Medical Response.
