I selected Colore Painting & Wallcovering for my interior paint project. I am selling my condo unit and wanted to give the walls and ceiling and fresh look. I selected Colore and Chris Todaro because of the entrepreneurial approach to his business. Nothing against the chains and franchises, I try and buy local and support local as best I can. Additionally, with the chains and franchises, the individuals that come in and do the estimate are not necessarily actually painting. Chris arrived for the estimate with his wife and did a walk through and had an estimate on the spot. And I knew he would be the one doing the job as well. My project was pretty simple, repaint all existing walls and ceiling that had white and did the kitchen in yellow. Chris was very timely and efficient. The outcome was exactly what I was looking for. My unit looks much better. What kept me from giving five stars was in the days following, I came across lots of little spots that warranted a bit of clean-up or touch up. I would not consider Chris a sloppy or messy painter. To the contrary, he took very good care of my place. That being said, I did a walk through after both days (it was a two day job), found a few spots here and there and he addressed them. In the days that followed as I put my place back together, saw it in different lighting and time of day (sun, etc.), I would find the not as easily noticed spots, splatters, etc. Having done all of my own painting previously, I think it is nearly impossible to not have that happen. However, I hold the professionals to a higher standard. In the end, I would recommend Chris and Colore.

Received a very good price, did work to perfection, very professional and trustworthy. I would hire him again when I need work done. Arrived as scheduled even as we had bad weather. Took good care of our furniture, no spills no mess, did all we contracted for in one day which was painting 5 ceilings, some repair work and installed a new fan. My highest compliments to Chris and work ethic and a job well done..
