I had carpeting installed in October by Floor Coverings Intnl. I cannot say enough good things about this company. From our initial appointment in August till Installation, Chris Pirotte, his Inside Person and his two Installerswere outstanding. They completed installation in a Large Bedroom , Large Loft and 14 Stairs in under four hours . They deserve a 5 Star Rating.

Floor Coverings International Chicago Northshore does phenomenal work. I recently just moved into a two story condo and wanted to get my downstairs flooring replaced. The downstairs hallway had ceramic tile and the bedroom had old carpet tile. I wanted to replace the ceramic tile with hardwood and install new carpet in the bedroom. This company was recommended to me and Im so glad I called them. Chris spent a lot of time at my condo precisely measuring my floors and brought a TON of samples for me to choose from! Chris is very knowledgeable about flooring and showed me different options within my budget. He was very patient and professional and helped me pick out gorgeous hickory hardwood for my hallway and beautiful white carpet for my bedroom. Once materials were ordered, they were installed shortly after. Installation only took a few days and Chris checked in with me every day to give me updates about my floors and how the process was going. Extremely professional and easy to communicate with. My floors were installed flawlessly and Im so happy with the results. I would highly recommend Chris and his team. I cant wait to use them again when I install my upstairs floors!

We had our our upstairs hallway carpeting removed and hardwood installed. The flooring is scratch resistant, which is needed since we have 2 dogs. We also had the capeting removed from our stairs and the treads were refinished. We also had a new hand rail installed. Chris and his team were professional, meticulous in their work and very attentive to our needs and requests. Chris also followed up a couple of weeks after project completion to ensure all was well and whether we had any issues/concerns. We are very happy with the work and would use them again for future work.

Chris is great and so is his flooring. We needed a small space done and he was great to work with. His pricing was fair and he truly knows his stuff. The carpet is soft but durable and were very lucky to have found him. Id highly recommend him to anyone in need of new flooring.

Chris was great! We had a family room that we wanted a large area rug for but did not want to spend $$$ as we have small children and know it will get food and drinks spilt on it. Chris recommended getting carpet cut and bound to the desired size. The carpet is amazing, so soft and cleans great. We've already had several spills and they clean up so easily. We will be having them back out again for our livingroom and diningroom area rugs. I wish we'd of used them for the other carpet in our house.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is full turnkey, we price the projects to take on all aspects: removal, haul away, subfloor prep, materials, labor, and new baseboards or quarter round. The price we agree on to start will be the price we stick with through the project. There will always be contractors who can do something cheaper, but we are priced to do the project right.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an in-home consultation where we measure the space, and discuss new flooring options with our client. We also come in a mobile showroom that contains thousands of samples that include hardwood, carpet, luxury vinyl tiles, ceramic/porcelain tiles, and laminate; this allows us to show product options with color and style choices so our clients' can make informed decisions in the rooms where they want the new flooring.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our design associate teams undergo hundreds of hours of training so we can provide the best options for our clients' flooring needs. Our install teams have decades of experience in their associated flooring types (hardwood, LVT, tile, and carpet).
