I made a post on Facebook requesting someone to direct me to a photographer that would brave the negative temps to get some winter/snow family photos. Jeremy was up for the challenge and we all braved the weather for some fun filled shots. It paid off big time. We love our photos and will be using you again soon! Hopefully the weather will be better too, haha.

Excellent , professional and very down to earth. We knew of crystal from previous sessions- and from her start up. Her talent as a professional photographer is among the best ... She is very particular- which is great for her clients. She makes us look really good!!

Megan photographed the most important day in my life thus far. She photographed our wedding. SHe is easy to work with, accommodating , professional, and works well with guest and family. SHe captured the moments I wanted and many I didn't think about but was very pleasantly surprised and pleased to have when I got my wedding photos. I have continued to follow Megan's work and it is beautiful.

Melissa was by far the easiest decision I made regarding our wedding. From the moment I saw her portfolio I knew she was the right photographer for us, and after meeting her we were even more sure. It was by random chance that I happened to hear about thumbtack and found her, and I'm so glad I did. Her work is so naturally stunning, the photos never come off as overly posed or fake - they look perfectly natural. I was so concerned with making sure that our pictures felt like us, and Melissa made sure of it. She is so easy going and so kind, both of us are more introverted people and definitely not overly familiar with being photographed but Melissa made us feel so comfortable. My brother is autistic and was very anxious about being photographed, but by the end of the night he was telling me how great Melissa and her husband/second shooter TJ are. I will forever be grateful for how comfortable they both made him feel, and how natural and "him" all of my photos of him are because of it. Melissa even provided a much needed pep talk when I was having some wedding planning difficulties and reminded me that it was my day, and it could be whatever I wanted it to be, and helped me to better stand my ground -- which was definitely above and beyond her job description. I am truly grateful for the time and effort she has put into both our wedding and engagement photos, and I would very highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

I am a professional wedding photographer and have assisted Candace many many times over the course of several years. I've witnessed her work, first hand. She is consistently on time, reliable, helpful, and extremely competent. She has a long list of happy clients. I know for a fact that she uses the best equipment available to professionals. I also know that she routinely bends over backwards for her clients, but she's only human and can only work with what she's given. As a wedding photographer, I know that it is up to the client to ensure that the wedding day timeline allows for hiccups during the day, not the photographer. If a client opts not to have a wedding planner, they run the risk of the day being disorganized. Photographers are photographers, not wedding planners or personal assistants. The client is responsible for making sure guests/family are where they are supposed to be, when they are supposed to be there. In short, I can't say enough wonderful things about Candace. In fact, if a potential wedding client inquires about my services and I'm booked on that day, I immediately refer them to Candace Hart. I encourage anyone who reads these reviews to ask to see any images in question. I have no doubt Candace's work will speak for itself.

Some have a learned trait others are born with it . The heart of a photographer sees things others do not see and Savana from SBC has this heart. She captures the beauty most miss through the lense of her camera . That family moment, a childs smile, the beauty of an untouched field . The majestic history of an old barn. The inner beauty of a persons soul missed by the common eye . SBC is just in the beginning stages and has a long bright future ahead. Make your appointment today .

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost for a photographer for a wedding?

Finding the right wedding photographer can make a big difference for your ceremony. Nationally, the average wedding photographer’s price ranges from $800 to $1,000, but costs can be much higher in areas like Chicago, New York or Los Angeles where some couples spend $2,000 to $5,000 or more for the photographer they want. Factors that can affect your wedding photographer prices include the photographer’s reputation and experience. Heavy hitters can command top rates, especially during wedding-season weekends. Day of the week also affects your cost. You may get a $200 discount on wedding photographer prices if you get married on a Friday in November rather than a Saturday in June. Time onsite is also an important cost factor. Hiring a photographer to snap photos from the moment you wake up until after last call at the reception is going to cost more than five hours of pictures during the day. Multiple photographers, special lighting, and videography will also increase your costs. Ultimately you want to find someone who has a style you love and can provide the number of edited shots you want for a price you can handle. Learn more about hiring a wedding photographer.
