Suzanne's Piano Lessons and Tutoring Services
About this pro
I have not played in about 30 years and felt kind of funny wanting to take lessons again. Suzanne is very encouraging and has helped me find my joy of the piano again. I am so happy!Apr 4, 2018Verified

Suzanne is very kind an patient with my 7 year old daughter. My daughter looks forward to her lessons every week and is very eager to learn! We've only had two lessons so far, but I can tell that my child will flourish because of Suzanne's teaching!May 14, 2016Verified
Suzanne has been teaching my seven year old for a little over two months now. My little girl is very excited about her lessons, she can already play a few songs, and read the notes, and she loves to practice. Suzanne is very nice and encouraging, but at the same time professional and makes the lessons fun for kids! Highly recommend!Oct 28, 2015Verified
Suzanne made a dream come true. My elderly, terminally ill mother had "Play the piano" at the top of her Bucket List. Suzanne is a kind, compassionate, loving person. My mother and I both feel that we met an angel! We hope to continue lessons as long as possible.Apr 3, 2015Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My $25 per 1/2 hour reflects both my extensive teaching experience and my understanding that today's parents are seeking to provide high quality personal instruction for their children that is affordable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I work with a new (or established) student I keep in mind how important it is to put them at ease and give them confidence so that learning can flow in. I want them to happily achieve all that they are capable of.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a dual degree in special and elementary education, as well as nearly enough credits for a music degree. I am also a church pianist.I have also continued to educate myself in the areas of music education and special needs education through the reading of research studies and current college textbooks.
