The best advice I could give to somebody hiring an accountant is to take your time. Don't rush into hiring an accountant. Unfortunately, most people are in a time crunch to hire an accountant and rush into hiring one. Make sure your personalities are compatible. Will this accountant be available to help you like you need? You will form a relationship with your accountant. If your accountant is not benefiting you personally or your business, it's time for a change!
