After having a spinal fusion on my lower back roughly 6 months ago and undergoing several months of physical therapy at one of the larger health centers; one of my friends introduced me to GI Jane fitness. I asked Jane what she could do to help me get back into shape and strengthen my core & back. She challenged me to eat better and workout appropriately for my situation. I choose Jane to help in my rehabilitation and after working with her for a short time she has been able to get me walking several miles each week and eating healthier than I have in years. She takes her responsibility of helping/training others seriously and worked with me to tailor a specific training regime that would work for my busy schedule and time constraints. I was a little apprehensive at first, but her technique and ability to challenge me to become stronger and healthier in general has been a huge success. The one thing she told me once is, It may be tough, but I will help you get through it. That saying encapsulates everything about Jane and her abilities.

My experience with Jane has been outstanding. She is very accommodating of issues with my knee (meniscus tear) and hip flexor. When I cannot do a particular exercise the way she planned it due to those issues, she creatively finds other ways to accomplish close to the same goal in a different manner. She pushes me hard, but when I say I just cannot, she respects that and tries a slightly less intense approach. Yet she comes back to the more aggressive approach if she feels I have strengthened to the point I can do it. I appreciate that.She has a very full schedule but since she seems to know her clients well, she seems to find ways to accommodate changes if need be. Plus, she is upbeat and positive, and one feels good after interacting with her.

Jane and Matt are both great to work with. We alternate between both because they both have different personalities as well as workouts and it's great to mix it up and keep it fresh. Gentle intensity (GI) is right on. We are entering our third month with them - and still loving the workouts and the results. Highly recommend them.

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Jane and what she has to offer. Our first meeting involved going over my nutrition. I believe Jane found at least 450 daily calories I did not need - that alone was worth the cost of one meeting. Jane then prepared a specific workout plan for me, which I really enjoy and believe I will have no problem following. Jane also stays in touch with text messages, which I also like. Jane is awesome!
