Agree with absolutely EVERYTHING in the last comment but would also like to add another BIG problem we faced with her was lack of communication. Candace was our photographer for our daughter's wedding last June and after our initial meeting and we had paid it was extremely difficult to ever be able to communicate with her through any source we tried (phone, cell, two different emails we were provided, in person, etc). Sometimes I'd take two weeks before we would get a response. We didn't get all of what we paid for until December! She also forgot and failed to take even 1 posed picture of the bride and groom alone together in the church!!! A huge and sad loss for our family as the moment is now lost forever. Besides poorly cropping off the sides of a picture that originally had the whole wedding party in it she was unable to photo edit and create a decent picture to cover this loss. It ended up that a friend from church had more advanced programs on his computer and was able to actually make a picture for us that looked just as if the bride and groom had posed for it! We were beyond unsatisfied with Candace's photography service with our daughters wedding. We hope you will find a photographer that will satisfy you!

I have never shot a session or a wedding couple named Nick or Anna and I have never shot a wedding for anyone named Rod or Maria as well. I know for a fact that this review as well as the next review from Rod and Maria are related to Anita and Vincent K's wedding. Problem #1 I arrived at the prep site 15 minutes early and ready to shoot. No one was around 45 minutes later the bride finally shows up requesting I start formals with the guys first since she isn't ready. Problem #2--The guys weren't there yet. We are now 45 minutes behind schedule. It then becomes my fault that the number of formal images weren't taken because we were in a rush. The wedding was June 29th and all images were presented to Anita on a CD LESS then 3 months (contract states 3 months from wedding date) from June 29th, 2012. A death in my immediate family did leave me out of the state for 10 days early July which was out of my control but I PROMPTLY returned all calls and emails as soon as I returned. I will let you decide if they were "plain and ordinary" here and I will let you see the photos of them at the church that I never took at this link to her gallery. Some people you just can't please.... https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150984116032133.407360.50587367132&type=3

We hired Candace to shoot our wedding in Jan 2012. Our wedding was Sept 22nd, 2012. She was very helpful while planning and answering timeline questions. She was quiet but seemed very nice. She was very flexible and easy to get a hold of. I liked that she gave us her cell number the day of the wedding just in case. We felt she did a very good job the day of the wedding and had all of our images provided online October 20th, 2012. We received the nicest package ever on Nov 5th, 2012 that included our print order and the flash drive that had our name and date engraved. I love it. It is very pretty! I feel the images are well worth the money we paid. Creative, bright cheery and fun. No boring formals. The quality was great as well. We have a big wrapped photon in our main living area that is 34x46 and it's beautiful. The negative-not as many images as I had hoped. 613 total (promised 500-750) but I'm a huge scrapper!! If I had to do it again I would hire her.

My experiences with her shooting our wedding were terrible. I guess when you pay thinking you are getting a professional and professional quality photos it really is upsetting when you dont get that out of it. With a wedding, the day is now over and it's not something that we could go back and get re-shot. This is really sad for us and now we have a very poor-quality album left for memories. About 15 of the pictures in it are stretched out tall and skinny or fat and short. We even mentioned this to Candace on the draft she sent online to us. She said she took an extra look but it turns out they STILL were like that! Not something you pay hundreds of dollars for and now can never re-do! This among other things made our whole experience with her awful. :(

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My most common photo sessions I would say are newborn to 1st birthday sessions. It's a good thing because they are both my favorites! Babies change so fast int he first year you can't capture them enough! I recommend newborn (4-14 days) 3 months, 6 months 9 months and final session at a year.
