About this pro
We are expert at value engineering and share our vendor resources with clients to insure best value and quality for their money. We also make our services available on evenings and weekends (dependent upon availability and workload) for those clients that cannot make a regular work hour appointment. We also take credit cards when necessary. I love my work. I get to meet some truly nice people and enjoy a varied project list. There is rarely any mundane or boring days for me and I find that more rewarding than any financial benefit could provide.
Customers rated this pro highly for value, punctuality, and work quality.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We do lump sum for most projects. We try to work within the clients budget rather than competitive bid. We get the best bang for the budget we can and will make suggestions as to how to best apply the finances in order to achieve the clients goal. For larger jobs, we usually take a nominal down payment to legitimize the contract, followed by a payout upon confirmation that materials are scheduled for delivery. Occasionally, if the project is complicated, we will set pay-outs based upon degree of completion or material demands, all payouts will be agreed to and in writing to eliminate confusion and ..most importantly...financial risk to the client. Smaller jobs are usually paid upon completion, cash check credit card or occasionally trade.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Recently completed the Building Auditing Certification Course through BPI (Building Professionals Institute). I have a degree in Facilities and Construction Management and have attended numerous seminars relating to my industry. Continuing evolution is embraced by us as an advantage that gives us a competitive edge over other contractors.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My family has a lineage of tradesmen and business owners. I started with my brother's start up construction company as the salesman and business side while he concentrated upon the actual trades part. Later, after I had acquired my "hands on" trades proficiency I left his company and started my own. I still occasionally use my brother as a sub-contractor on some larger jobs.
