I hired Mike to replace the baseboards and doorways/jambs in my living room and dining room. I wanted the new woodwork to match my re-finished oak hardwood floors, as the original baseboards were in pretty bad shape and did not match the refinished floors at all. Mike spent about 1.5 hours with me during our initial consultation taking measurements, reviewing my options of baseboard styles and gave me a rough cost estimate. Mike sent me the formal estimate that same evening. Mike was willing to do the work around my schedule which included doing the consultation on a weeknight and doing the actual installation on a weekend. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way my new baseboards turned out! They really classed up my place and Mike matched the oak floors perfectly! He even was able to compensate for the uneven areas of my floors so there were no gaps where the shoe molding met the floor. Mike communicated with me regarding his progress, from purchasing the baseboards to sending me pictures as he completed the staining in his shop. When it came to installation day Mike set up his equipment outside my house and was very considerate about keeping a clean workspace. I don't know much about tools but the tools he brought with seemed pretty state-of-the-art and easy to set up/tear down. Overall the installation took about 3 days. Overall, I had a very positive experience. My project was completed for the quoted price and in the agreed-upon timeframe. Mike's pride in his work was apparent during every stage of the process. It is good to know that he is willing to take a departure from doing his custom work to doing a fixer-upper project like mine. I will definitely be calling him back when I am ready to remodel my kitchen. I know I can count on him to do a professional job.

Mike is a perfectionist, which is great when he's doing work for you! My deck looks flawless and he even put lights in, behind the risers. Great idea! he's such a talented guy. Whenever I need any kind of work done, he's my go to guy. He ripped out my old floor and put in a nice new laminate floor. He also put a pantry into my kitchen, which allowed me to get rid of the huge floor to ceiling cabinet. Now there's much more room in there. Mike I highly recommend you to all my friends and family!

Mike put a bamboo floor in my family room. His work is amazing. A math wizz I guess because what I saw him do was brilliant when it comes to measuring!!!! I love my floor and would recommend Mike's work to anyone. A true craftsman and I couldn't be happier.
