First time working with our inspection company and she nailed every shot we needed for our fleet inspections shoot. Very quick turn around time and we will be using her services for our future projects in the area
Dan and Lydia photographed our engagement shoot and wedding. They met with us well in advance to discuss the contract and our visions for our big day. They were professional and fun, offering ideas and suggestions while listening to what we wanted. They put us at ease when we were nervous, and were there when we needed them throughout the entire process, answering emailed questions and phone calls immediately. On our wedding day, they were involved in everything they could be, wanting to capture every moment. The drone photos at our ceremony were SPACTACULAR, and our guests were undisturbed throughout it all. We chose to have a short video including short clips throughout the day. The direction they provided to us, plus the editing and sharing of the photos and video were more than we could possibly ask for. We would recommend their services to anyone, and were so happy to work with them at such an important moment in our lives! We couldn't have asked for anything better!
Ed was fantastic... I cannot recommend him enough - from the professionalism, to the creativity, time management, flexibility, and dedication to the project - he was flawless throughout the entire process. We had a lot of specifications and without hesitation he created solutions when presented with constraints. Ed delivered the final product a week ahead of schedule and exceeded expectations at every opportunity. Without a doubt, Ed will be my first call for all future projects. Ed is truly in a league of his own. A class act, incredible videographer, and brilliant team member - Ed is a master in his craft and Homesick Blues Productions is by far the best decision you can make for your film project.
Sergio helped make my daughter's sweet 16 so special by capturing very nice pictures and videos that my family and I will cherish forever. He was very helpful and his service was amazing. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a photographer/videographer. The quality of his work is easily 10/10. My family, my daughter and all her friends appreciate his work so much and everything turned out amazing. Thank you Sergio!!
Dane was an amazing addition to the crew for our short film, Mighty Hands. He was our Steady Cam Operator for the DJI Ronin and RED Scarlet. Dane was always on time and made sure to stay informed about what was happening on set. He was in sync with the Director of Photography as well as the Director throughout the entire production. I definitely recommend working with him. He was a great asset to have on set.
Michael Garrett did the photography for our wedding in October and I absolutely loved how the photos turned out. He seemed to be everywhere getting all the right moments caught on camera. Everyone said he was very polite and thorough. I would recommend him to anyone.
We used Sean for our family get together. It was great because our photographer backed out at the last minute and Sean came in and saved the day! We had our pics back in 2 days which was super fast! We would use him again for sure!
Amy edited an important presentation for me. The presentation was regarding the budget for a special project. It contained detailed numbers that had to be correct. Amy did an excellent job. She was easy to work with and completed the work on a tight schedule.

As an avid reader, I started a career copyediting after graduating with a B.A. in communication and a minor in English. Along the way, I developed the skills and fell in love with graphic design. I love to read, it is my mental escape. I have a masters in education with an area of concentration in English. I found teaching my students how to write was a passion of mine. One of my pet peeves is poor grammar. Someone can write something beautiful but if there are a few grammatical errors, it takes away from the writing. I am currently reading a book my friend wrote and published. Throughout the book, I have found some grammatical errors, and I wished she would have let me edit her book first. I would love to provide that service for you, just a chance to have fresh eyes look over your paper, novel, article, etc.
I am a graduate from the University of Illinois with a degree in English and a minor in communication. Previously, I was a reporter for a small town newspaper providing the lead stories and covering the hot topics around town. I currently work full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm, but would love to use my skills on the side.
