Juan was incredibly nice to work with. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, even to the point of changing some stone work after it had been completed because we weren't thrilled with how it looked once we saw it in the ground. That being said, I think they were expensive based on the quality of the work and I felt the charge for some of the plants was very high compared to what I could find myself at nurseries. All in all, we were satisfied and appreciated his professionalism.
R&R power-washed our deck, and power-washed and sealed our paver stone patio, walkway and front stairs. Roberto was quite responsive and professional. For the most part, the work was excellent. Everything was very clean, and they repaired some bricks that had come loose. I was not home when they did the sealing, and was disappointed to see that they did not cover the bricks next to the house. Those bricks are covered with little shiny sealer splash marks that frustrate me every time I see them. For what they charged ($1600), I expected better.
Linda's team was hired to spread topsoil in some very large garden beds and rim them with stones. They also removed several overgrown bushes. They spread well over 20 yards of dirt and several truckloads of stones and did a fantastic job. They were quick, and very neat with their work when finished you could not even see they had been there other than the beautiful jobs they did cutting in, spreading dirt and rimming my beds with stone.
We worked with Gracie and Marek on kitchen backsplash and bathroom floor and shower stone work. The job was completed on time, on budget, and to our expectations. Both were very professional and great to work with. Marek arrived exactly when he said he would and kept the work area organized. I would definitely use them for future work.
Ken from K M Remodel installed a few of our tile projects. First he installed a new kitchen backsplash with stone mosaics. He also removed our old fiberglass fun surround and installed new backerboard and porcelain tile with 2 built in shelves. Tile looks great and we are very pleased.
Sam came out and completed several things for this project: Acoil around window and door, trim around roofline, touch up spot painting, caulk around tubs and sinktop, drywall, insullation around hvac ductwork, anchoring of laundry tub, tile work, etc. He had the tools, the manpower, and the skill to complete the job efficiently. He was both reasonable and flexible with pricing. It's no wonder he is in high demand. If you are flexible with timing and reasonable with pricing, Sam and his crew are worth the opportunity. I would use him again.
Josh did the tile in my bathroom and the stone on the fireplace. We were very happy with the work he provided. We will hire him again in the future.
It was a landscaping project that included: trimming the shrubs in the my front and back yards, cutting back the overgrowth around my rose of sharon bushes, removing the dead branches from my magnolia tree, cutting down a dead (small) tree and putting landscaping stones around 3 small flower beds.
Painting Highly recommend Steamatic for painting and repair services. Own a wood shingle and stone two story house in need of routine painting. Steamatic offered me the lowest price. They started the job in about two weeks which was great because it gave me time to decide on what color paint for the siding and trim and buy it myself. Took them about a week to finish the house and by the time the weekend came around, had the house looking like new! Called Bo that Sunday to see if his crew could fix some roof shingles an re-attach a gutter with new clips. They came out later that week, finished the repairs in about two hours and actually painted my mailbox at no additional cost to match the house. Really suggest you give these guys a call. Nice people , hard working and know their stuff. Jerome W
They refinished my basement for me, framed it out including one bathroom two bedrooms and a kitchen. Put drywall up, tile back splash and floor, redid my fireplace with ledger stone. They were on time and very courteous, helpful and professional staff. Very knowledgeable. No complaints. Highly recommended.
We had the bottom half of our fireplace tiled with natural stone. And it turned out Beautiful. Now on to the kitchen!!
I really liked the way the tile work came out. I've used the company for both interior tile work and exterior stone work. Both times it came out excellent. I get so many compliments on both jobs and would definitely use them again for future projects.
Verafloor was the perfect match to my needs. They did a project for me where I was looking to add a washroom with shower as well as finished concrete floors to a space I'd be using for Airbnb. The us of Concrete is not typical in Chicago and I certainly wasn't going for typical. Still, finding a service that would deliver wasn't easy and anything unique like that could get very expensive. Thankfully I discovered Verafloor and numerous examples of their work online and on Houzz. After calling them, they quickly gathered my specs and priced the project out. I decided to give them the green light as they stood out from the rest and their pricing was reasonable. They delivered beutiful washrooms and floors for me. My Airbnb guests absolutely love the look, feel and modern aesthetic that concrete brings to the space. I've received numerous compliments. Highly recommend Verafloor and it's friendly crew to deliver unique solutions.
We used Keith and Innovative Remodeling & Structure for some millwork (board and batten style) in our entrance way. He re-constructed our columns in the great room to a modern farmhouse look. We love it! Great craftsmanship. He worked with us on the design to give us the look we wanted that flowed with the rest of the house. We were so happy with the work, that we added on a fireplace re-design. We resurfaced the dated brick with a more current gray stone. He rebuilt the mantle and created a shiplap trim design above the fireplace. We'll definitely use Keith again.
Stone Specialists did a great job refinishing terrazzo flooring in 2 bathrooms. They were both affordable and punctual. I couldn't be happier with the results.
