Mary is an excellent Piano Teacher. Very Patient and Very Knowledgeable. I am an Adult Beginner and she makes learning fun and keeps me moving and learning. I highly recommend Mary to anyone wanting to take Piano lessons.
The trial lesson was informative and pleasant. Looking forward to future lessons.
Cynthia is super sweet and very informative about how the voice works. I've had two lessons with her and can't wait for the third!
Three of my kids have taken guitar lessons with Aaron and they love it-he makes it fun!!
I just started learning to play guitar and think that Patrick is a great teacher. Beginner sessions are about 30 minutes, but I've been given homework after every session. He is very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He has been going at a good pace for me based on my prior knowledge. I would definitely recommend him for lessons
Got to talk to Jeffrey for quite a while. He was very informative, prompt, and courteous. I can't wait to start lessons with him!
I started piano lessons with Melrick around April 2016. He has made the investment very worthwhile. He is knowledgeable in both reading music and learning by ear. I have no regrets and look forward to my continued growth. I would highly suggest him to anyone that is interested in learning to play the piano no matter what age you are.
I would highly recommend Chris for piano lessons. He does a great job tailoring each lesson to the student and keeps it fun at the same time. His practice of teaching the student to play by ear has furthered my development as a piano player and kept me engaged.
Every teacher and staff member at Shock City School of Music is totally outstanding. The teachers not only have great talent and experience, and they also truly care about their students and invest in their success. A great place for lessons!
I worked with A Major for piano lessons for my mom. The lady who I scheduled with, Carol, was really helpful and worked with my slightly strange requests (it was a surprise gift, so we didn't know *when* the lessons were going to be until after we gave her the gift). Working with her was a real pleasure! While our instructor was much more skilled in guitar than piano, he was definitely able to provide the quality instruction to get a beginner going on the right track. He provided us with a beginner booklet and valuable intro level guidance. And this all for a really great price compared to other options I looked at. Even group classes cost more than this weekly in house visit!
Thus far I've only had one lesson with Ms. Foster, but I from what I can tell she knows how to teach piano well. She was kind enough to
Nick's natural understanding of music makes him an excellent teacher. From fundamentals to very advanced techniques, Nick is able to take you to the next level no matter what your experience is. Any lessons I've ever had with Nick have had immediate application to my shows and performances. I look forward to continuing my work with his studio for years to come.
Katie taught my two girls piano during the 2011-2012 (5th & 6th grades) & 2012-2013 (6th & 7th grades) school years, and some during the summers. They each did half an hour lessons with her each week. Katie works very well with children, my girls loved her! She was very encouraging each week to one of my daughters, who is extremely hard on herself. She is also flexible & extremely knowledgeable in the area of music. She was able to see that one of my daughters played better by ear and the other one played better by reading the music & switched one of their piano books accordingly, in the middle of the school year. Katie is a great piano teacher and I highly recommend her.
Sue Alexander from the MusIQ club will be giving piano lessons to two grandchildren and me. She responded very quickly and very nicely agreed to come by so we could meet and she could be introduced to the children. My daughter and her children and I were all delighted with Sue and are looking forward to the lessons.
Mrs. Catherine is an excellent music teacher! She knows her craft well and has fun teaching my 7year old daughter. Also, she is flexible with her schedule. My daughter knows how to read music, knows her keys, can play simple pieces, etc. We are very pleased with Catherine Burge!
