Latest Review: Jesus Garcia, has been teaching piano to our 6 year old for nearly a year now. He is very friendly and makes lessons fun for the kids! My child looks forward to her weekly piano lessons and practices after class to impress the teacher. He is very attentive to details and accommodates parents requirements too. He is also extremely patient with the kids and guides them through hard lessons. My kid enjoy's it so much that her younger sibling wants to join the class as well :) !

Latest Review: I got SO much more than I asked for connecting with Altered Stage. Not only does my membership get me access to unlimited guitar lessons with an awesome teacher, it also includes a great space with all the equipment needed, a welcoming community of likeminded and friendly recreational musicians, and the chance to play on-stage with my fellow members once/month. I went from being the guy who could play chords and learn simple songs through tabs to someone who understands music theory and feels comfortable jamming with strangers at the drop of a hat. A huge change from where I started and not at all what I expected. AS gives members the chance to get involved as little or as much as one wants. I could not recommend them more to musicians at any level.

About: Regarding live music for wedding/banquet type events, I provide first-rate cello and piano performance, with deep experience having solo performances in major US cities and Europe, and regularly performing in professional orchestral settings. As a teacher, I have studied with celebrated cellists, including Ko Iwasaki, Emilio Colon, Brandon Vamos, and Suren Bagratuni. On Piano, my teachers have included Tella-Marie Debose, Gellert Modos, and Michael Fritch. My style is a traditional intuitive approach that has yielded an outstanding studio, producing many music majors, several competition winners. But most importantly, we foster a happy and healthy approach to music as a model for long term well-being.

Latest Review: Sally is extremely patient, calm and friendly. In my lessons, she is using the Suzuki Method of teaching piano, which I find helpful for a first time learner. I have had 5 lessons so far and she has always been on time for each lesson and is always prepared.

Latest Review: My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey just a month ago but she is so excited every week to go. We have been very happy with how Stacey has progressed her - continually adding more difficult pieces to work on to see what she can do. This is our first experience w music lessons of any type and we are really happy with Stacey De & Co! Even my son, who never wants to try anything new, has started asking about taking drum lessons there. We couldn't be happier :)

Latest Review: Guitar Chicago is the best option for music lessons in Chicago! Their instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and supportive. They do a fantastic job of working with you to achieve your individual goals. I started as a beginner with no guitar knowlege, and they helped me achieve my goals of playing multiple open mics and music events. I've also been able to meet and work with other Guitar Chicago students! They are always willing to work with my busy schedule, which is very hard to find with other schools or group lessons.

Latest Review: Our 8-year old has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Rum for a little more than two months, and she's learned so much already. Phil and Rum are lovely people. And we really appreciate the affordable rates they offer. Highly recommended!
