I would highly recommend Tail Waggin Pet Services. We found ourselves in need of someone to watch our dog after my father-in-law passed away. Kristen is very professional and did a great job for us. She doesn't just come in a few times a day to care for their basic needs, she also spends time with them playing, walking, and giving them a lot of TLC. She was also great about opening/shutting blinds, turning on/off lights, etc. You can tell Kristen is a "pet lover" and I believe animals can sense that in people! Our dog was receptive to her right away and we were completely comfortable knowing she would be well taken care of. It was a great option for us to leave our dog at home where she is comfortable instead of having to board her in a kennel.

When I adopted my first puppy just last year , I knew I needed a dog walker. Someone who would love my little guy the way I would and take good care of him while I was at work or on vacation. Thankfully Shauna was there to help! Her flexibility, honesty, and positive attitude definitely made her stand out from others. She was very understanding, very professional and always left me progress notes on how my little Leo did the day of the visit. During her visit's she also made time to play with my cat as well which in my eyes is a huge plus! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Shauna for your furry friends! She is responsible and will always be there for you and your pets!

The job required, was taking care of our 2 cats....several times, since the first time we used Damien and PAWS. But the first time was being away fir 5 days. It may not sound like a big deal, but pet owners know, after your children, pets are important family.....you can not just trust them to just anyone. It's like interviewing for a babysitter.....a LOT of trust is involved. But after meeting Damien for a consultation/preview of duties, we felt good. And our instincts turned out to be 100% correct. We have had bad/inadequate care for our pets before, and it can be upsetting.....But Damien at PAWS understands and does a commendable and comforting job. It is very nice to know when you have pressing out of town obligations that things are running smoothly at home. When you're out of town and too far away to care for pets, and more importantly, trust someone with your home, you breathe a sigh of relief when getting e-mails and texts that all is well. I recommend Damien and PAWS wholeheartedly.

Motif has been my groomer for the past 5 years. They always do a wonderful job on my Collies and you can't beat their prices. My dogs love going there and playing with the doggie daycare pups while they wait for their turn. I have never been disappointed in the service they provide and they are fantastic with senior dogs and make sure they accommodate their needs. All the staff is knowledgeable and has even helped out with dietary suggestions and dogs with skin allergies. You won't be disappointed with Motif grooming!

For the first meet and greet I found the staff open and concerned about my concerns.they talked but more importantly they listened. My Roxy is my family she a small little ball of fire. That can be a handful. But Angelica, made me feel at ease, she cares about the pets she really is a kind person. I would recommend her to anyone that needed a doggie daycare. Denise

Wild Paws is a wonderful service, providing training, boarding, and daycare and Joanne (Jo) is clearly a special trainer. Jo has been our sheltie-cockapoo-pumi mix trainer for several months and the two of them hit it off from the very beginning. Indeed, I have witnessed this for every dog I have seen interact with her. The emphasis of the training program is always on the well-being of the dog: protecting the dog from running away or eating something dangerous; keeping the dog mentally stimulated, and fostering a healthy relationship between the owners and the dog, especially for families with young children. The daycare is heavily supervised and highly secured. If you are not known, you are not getting in, and you are definitely not removing a dog. However, if you are known, you are welcomed with open arms. The facility is always clean and new dogs are added carefully to the existing mix to ensure that play is always satisfying (and exhausting!) for the dogs. Pictures of the dogs are shared every day. Dietary restrictions are enforced strictly. Treats are plentiful and varied. Puppies tend to leave learning new tricks. I have also used the boarding service. Pictures of the dogs playing are also shared every day. Boarded dogs spend significant portions of the day outside of their cage, unless they are stressed. The service emphasizes the well-being and happiness of the dog as well. There is a human being with the dogs 24/7. If you have a sensitivity to smoke scent, you will want to wash your dog afterward, but this is at most a minor inconvenience. Knowing that the dogs are safe, stimulated, and learning is what matters.

We hired Nancy and Len to walk our 2 french bulldogs 3 days per week. We had them come over to meet the boys and everyone got along so we decided to hire them. Len takes the boys for nice long walks then make sure they get water and treats before they go back into their crate. One weekend we had a family emergency and had to leave the boys at home for a long part of the day., We called Nancy and Len and they were able to come by and walk them with just a half days notice. Then the next week Nancy called to make sure everything was all right concerning the family emergency. You don't find that with all dog walkers! The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is that they do not have smart phones and I do not get text messages about how the walk and visit went or the occasional photo that we were used to getting with our previous dog walker. We almost did not hire them due to this but Len does leave nice detailed notes plus knowing that they care about us and our boys make up for the lack a smart phone.

Eight years ago, had it not been for Paw Law and Jan's training methods, I would have NEVER continued in Obedience or Agility... Thanks to the positive training methods used by Jan & Paw Law, my dog went on to achieve many titles and ribbons... however, even more meaningful than all of that, we established a beautiful bond and she became my best friend. She is gone now, but the experience I received at Paw Law to use positive training methods now continues to live on thru my 2 new baby dogs. Thank you Jan, and Paw Law, for all of your help through the years.

About

We stand out for a number of reasons. (1) We do an extremely thorough assessment of every dog. We ask people to have their dog here at 7am on the day of the assessment and they are here for a day of day care and being assessed on that day, so they are here until at least 2:30pm. During that time, we look at how does the dog do with new people, how does the dog do with strange objects, how does the dog do with general handling, how does the dog do with toys and treats with people and with other dogs. Once that portion is done, we introduce the new dog slowly to other dogs. We first do an introduction through fencing - allowing them to sniff one another safely. Then we introduce on leash and lastly off leash, but only if the introductions through the fence and on-leash have gone well. We assess how each dog does with a variety of transitions, such as going through doorways, different gates, being kenneled or crated and going from our outside to inside.
