The dj was good, but I felt that he could have asked more question to become familiar with the way the wedding was going to run and to make sure he understood the whole process. Also, music cut off a couple of times which was very disruptive. Overall, good experience but could be better especially if it's ethnic music and a particular kind of a wedding.

Because my wedding was outside, in the rainy June season in good ol Chicago, I went back and forth with tent sizes, tent quantity, and side walls. As much of a pain as I was, Stacie made sure every request was fulfilled and every question I had was answered. She made me feel confident that my wedding would turn out perfect, rain or shine, and that she would do everything to make sure I had the proper tenting. It didn't rain, however, I am still so thankful for how easy and wonderful they were to work with! Thank you for being a part of making my wedding better than I dreamed;)
It was a pleasure to work with them. They were able to adapt to changes and kept the function moving so we could enjoy spending time with our guests. Several guests mentioned how impressed they were at their ability to make sure they knew each guests and what they were drinking and eating and made sure they had it.
Church had to set up with decorations for a wedding which was done and Marvalous job she did... Then she had to decorate the hall which they only Gave her an hour... And with that hour she worked her magic and did a BEE TEE FUL and AMAZING JOB..LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, suggestions and conerns... THANK YOU For being available and willing to do the work for us. I think we made a great choice when we went with you..
It was THE BEST decision to hire Sarah Kathleen Events for our wedding! Believe me, you need a wedding coordinator, and you need Sarah. My husband and I were both very involved in all the little details of our wedding and perhaps our only regret is that we didn’t break off even more for Sarah sooner. She’s incredibly capable, and whatever you throw at her, she can handle it! She has a rare combination of efficiency and kindness to go along with very reasonably priced packages. We even had our other vendors complimenting us on how kind and organized she was! After our first meeting with her, we knew we were in good hands. After our second meeting, we’d felt we’d known her for years. On our wedding day, she was like clockwork. She’d pop up every so often with either an update that everything’s running smoothly, or to give a quick update, ask you a question, and then off she’d go to solve some last-minute issue. We had even forgot, in the craziness of the day, to have our friends pick up our wedding favors across town and could not get in touch with that vendor to see if they were still open. Our photographer jumped through hoops to find out they were open and we told Sarah – who just calmly said “Let me see what we can do”. A bit later, our favors had arrived and were prepared beautifully and no guests had any clue that something big almost went wrong! Whoa! Not in her job description! She is on a whole other level of helpful. And shout-out to Luis, who crushed it with Sarah and was so easy to be around. To summarize, Sarah Kathleen Events is affordable, kind, efficient, easy to work with, and goes above and beyond. Hire them. You won’t regret it.
Calling All Brides!! - Diana did an amazing job with the floral arrangements, alter design and bridal bouquet for our wedding. She was very responsive to our requests and did an excellent job making style ideas and color concepts come to life. Absolutely stunning work - she is very talented at what she does!! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on how beautiful the alter decor and arrangements were. Highly, highly recommend!! Definitely one of the best values in Chicago!!
Izza and her team were the absolute fantastic to work with! My husband and I hired iMktg Services for full planning services, which entailed everything from monthly in-person check-ins, decorations, guest list, invitations and pretty much everything that you need at your big day. Izza was absolutely incredible at keeping us organized and helping us stick to our schedule. She immediately got to know us as a couple and was able to provide spot on recommendations and advice for all of the thousands of decisions that go into planning a modern christening. If you need a wedding planner, don't even bother looking further! She is one best event planner that will go beyond your expectations. (wink..wink she actually gives a lot of freebies on our event, items and services) What else could you ask for? oh wait, before I forgot, she is young, smart and has a good professional background. Too many to name it all.
Deborah is an excellent wedding planner and designer. She is thoughtful, creative and very professional. She designed the flowers at my wedding and decorated each table exactly the way I envisioned my wedding. I highly recommend Deb. She knows what she is doing! And she cares deeply about people, she helped make my wedding day elegant!
Amber planned a bachelorette party for me when I was the maid of honor for a friend's wedding. It was so nice to have her there to take the burden and stress of planning off my shoulders. The most important part was that the bride was very happy with the way everything turned out and had the time of her life as her last night out as a single gal. Thanks Amber!
Working together with Jackie on a beautiful, unique wedding dress was a great pleasure. She is easy going and put great effort in understanding ideas for my special day. Sara helped with pre planning and day of planning for my daughter's wedding at the Shedd Aquarium and was beyond amazing. She was without a doubt the best money spent on the wedding. Prior to the wedding she made sure we were on time with vendor requirements, payments and a wedding checklist. She was at the rehearsal to make sure the entire bridal party and family knew what to do, where to go and when. The day of the wedding she organized all vendors so all we had to do was show up and enjoy the event. We had a last minute emergency of a missing bridal hanger for pictures of my daughters dress and Sara went out the day of the rehearsal and got one for us. She went above and beyond at every opportunity!!! Amazing!!!
I highly recommend Tilly as a wedding day-of coordinator. I had a 220 person wedding reception in October 2017. I consider myself a fairly organized person, and when we first met she brought up a ton of questions I was surprised that I hadn't even thought about! Tilly continued to keep in regular touch before the wedding to ensure everything was on track. Thanks to Tilly's hard work before and during the reception, my significant other and our families were able to enjoy ourselves to the fullest, worry-free! Friends and family had pleasant things to say about Tilly as well. We had an excellent experience with Tilly and I certainly would recommend her to any of my friends planning to have a wedding.
If you are looking for an event designer and decorator that's professional and creative, Mera Mera is it! I hired Emera and her team for my recent June wedding and she was O-mazing! Starting with my initial consultation on Thumbtack, to our in person meeting, all the way to my big day, Emera was attentive, understanding, and always reassured me that things would go smoothly. And they did! Even with some of the planning set backs or mishaps (since I was planning my own wedding mostly), she was always calm. I got many many compliments on how beautiful, artsy, unique, and gorgeous my wedding was I owe it to Mera Mera. Joanna was the best florist I've worked with. From the start she was so personable. We met at Starbucks and spent over an hour looking at photos,clippings and ideas. She has a wealth of knowledge on every flower and will work with any idea you can imagine. Joanna was so flexible with my last minute changes, and even offered to help set things up for me at the wedding. I will recommend her whole heartedly and know if you pick this company you will not have 1 ounce of regret. My wedding was this weekend and I'm still staring at my bouquet… Wish it could be frozen in time it is the most beautiful thing!
I got married last summer and Nena helped me with everything! I had an extremely small budget (5k) but I wanted a wedding to remember! She told me about park preserves and we went out to view on in the city. It was gorgeous! The price was amazing. She also helped me find affordable catering, decorations, my dress, cheap suit rentals and a delicious cake (from Mariano's! Who knew??!). Anyway this chick is amazing. She helped me with everything up to the day and even came for day of coordination. It was the happiest day of my life and it would have not been possible without Marshae Blu!
Our daughter's wedding was September 2012 and Yvonne Joseph Decorating provided the centerpieces for the tables and personal flowers. They also provided the linens, runner and uplighting. From our first meeting, we were impressed the professionalism and knowledge she processed. Lauren and her future met with Yvonne and they clearly didn't know what was available or exactly what they wanted. Yvonne took that into consideration and gently made suggestions and showed them ideas of what could be done to make their day special. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful! Yvonne and Joe arrived early and quietly made sure everything was done in high fashion. They even provided flowers and uplighting for the alter -even when we didn't know it was needed. Boy - did that make a difference! The bride and groom were happy and the parents and guests were highly impressed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Yvonne Joseph Decorating for your wedding or any special occasion!
I'm a long time client of Izza. From my engagement party, wedding, baby shower and now a christening. Izza and her team has been great, helpful and understanding. I remember on my baby shower, I have mommy tantrums and a lil overwhelmed but Izza rest assured that everything will go well and she made sure I will just relax and enjoy my day. I'm glad it did! My short notice hiring her, when I say its a short notice, it's 4 days before the shower when my bestfriend got sick and could set up and decorate the venue. Izza here is the savior. Thank you again Izza. Now we have plenty of time to prepare my son's baptism. :)
Matt was our DJ for our wedding October 5th and he did an outstanding job. Prior to the wedding Matt worked with us on selecting ALL the songs we wanted played at our wedding and also worked hard on the songs we wanted played for our first dance. I worked with GoldenEvents129 in creating a vision party . It was a small gathering . And was set up perfectly. The theme of the party was entitled Closer to my dream . She came up with the concept and brought it to life beautifully. She did all of the planning , decorating, party favors for the women when they left , drinks as well as we had small finger foods . She was a great deal of help . She ran everything by me before final decision were made and kept in contact with me In every step of the was . On the day of the event the only thing I ways responsible for was opening my front door to allow her in my home to set up and locking the door behind her after she cleaned and the party was over. She was amazing very through and very personable .
