- What types of customers have you worked with?
As a solo acoustic artist I end up playing a lot of corporate events, wedding ceremonies, and even the occasional back yard shindig. With a full band I end up doing anything from Jazz Trio on up to a 14 piece Pop/Rock/Jazz Orchestra. The most booked band size is a 7 piece including myself on guitar and saxophone as well as two other singers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In addition to hiring someone talented it can be equally important that they be experienced. Knowing what to play when is a big deal. Also being able to deal with planners and on-site management is much more important than many musicians anticipate.
