Searching for a photographer after realizing a photographer had not been booked for the event, I contacted Eric the day before the event. He responded within minutes of my initial online contact, kept in contact for questions over the next several hours, and we had the details sealed by that evening. At this stage of the planning/contact, I thought Eric's price was very reasonable for the number of hours (3) requested and the format (download/flash drive) requested.*
The afternoon of the event, Eric kept in touch regarding his arrival (which was unrequested but I thought was very nice!) because the event started during the middle of rush hour. He shot candid as well as posed photographs through 3 hours of the party (which was casual, full, and lively), checking in throughout to see if there were any specific photos/poses/people that we wanted.
Eric was terrific about communicating when I could expect to receive the photos, and he provided them within 2 weeks after the party. The quality of the photos was excellent.
Eric truly captured the joy, friendship, and fun of my husband's retirement party. Reliving the party just two weeks later was so much fun after downloading and viewing the photos!
See that * up there, 4 paragraphs ago? Well, that's because after the event, after meeting and interacting with Eric during the event and receiving the photos, I absolutely must say that Eric's price was DOWNRIGHT FANTASTIC. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or better photographer.
Would absolutely recommend Eric/eClarke Photo Chicago. I wish he had been around when we were married in 1992...... :)
