WORK WITH DAVID. He is worth so much more than what he is charging, and is such a lovely and professional instructor. I know that singing lessons will not transform you on day one, it's a process, but I implemented what he taught me at an audition later THAT DAY and noticed a huge change in the way I sing. Plus, his fluffy Collie Roscoe is reason alone to come for a visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Sep 28, 2018Verified
Just witnessed my first lesson with David. He was able to make my introverted wife feel comfortable enough to come out of her shell and make silly sounds with him. She appreciated that the first lesson didn't include a "sing me your favorite song" request to see what she could do. Instead, he started with the basics and spent the lesson teaching proper breathing and letting the pressurized air out of tight vocal chords (as against "pushing" the sound out). Looking forward to many more lessons. Now she's got to practice!Apr 25, 2018Verified

I have no experience with singing and decided to change that. I'm very happy with my choice. I feel like I felt my vocal instrument for the first time. It's pretty cool to understand that we all have an instrument built in and I'm enjoying becoming more familiar with that.Feb 2, 2018Verified
Currently sitting outside from my first lesson. He's a phenomenal teacher and I can already feel my voice improving from where I was this time yesterday.Oct 10, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It is important for the new student to understand the basic terminology used in voice work, along with the important muscles that are required to support the voice. A basic groundwork has to be communicated so that the student can visualize what is necessary to improve. After this groundwork has been laid, progress can begin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I consistently keep myself up-to-date on the latest ways to help make teaching methods clear to students. Many students have been confused by other teachers and are seeking understandable ideas on how to improve their voices. Singing professionally is also my way of staying current with my own voice, which is beneficial to all of my students.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been associated with music all of my life and after my training and professional singing, it was natural to want to help others improve.
