I started working one on one with Patrick 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier with my decision! I had previously taken his group fitness classes and always gotten a lot of out them. Working with him one on one has taken it to a new level. He motivates me to do things I would never do on my own. I train with Patrick 3 times a week and every workout is different, challenging, and makes me feel good about myself. I never thought I would look forward to "getting my butt kicked" :) Patrick is also a great nutrition coach. He laid out a plan for me and holds me accountable...just what I needed. We always talk about my progress and ways to improve. Investing in a personal trainer was one of the best investments I ever made. Tiffany was a great choice for me in terms of a nutritionist! I have been having some stomach issues and Tiffany designed an entire meal plan for me. Day by day, week by week, she designed the plan to help my specific gut issues to begin its healing process! She was also right there for me whenever I had a question! After about 4 weeks I've seen a tremendous positive change in my gut health! Along with the meal plan she also created for me a work out plan! That was also designed specifically for me and my abilities! I could not be more happy with how far I've come thanks to Tiffany!

Destination Fitness is the best! This is by far the best money I have ever spent! I wasted so much money on health clubs that I never went to. I tried tapes and classes at various clubs and park districts. I never stuck to any plan until I tried Destination Fitness and Jill's team. Jill was so caring and listened to my story. She helped put together a plan and introduced me to her trainer Marty and her Registered Dietitian Melissa. For the first time everything clicked! They did not make me feel like I had to drop and give them 20 push ups. They created fun exercises for me to follow that I actually enjoyed! Melissa the RD was amazing. She listened to me as well and helped me create a menu plan that I could follow on my busy schedule. Tim not only is an excellent personal trainer he has a wealth of knowledge about exercise, food and health in general. I have been working out with Tim for the past 4 years and he has completely changed my view on time spent exercising! It took alot of trust for me to leave the health club for an hour a day and follow his advice on actually working out less but smarter, but it sure paid off! Becoming a personal trainer myself 2 years ago he has become a mentor to me. He has given me solid advice that shows he's in this business for the right reasons!

I have had two meetings so far and do not think we will need many more for now. I still have many things to do on my own and probably will need a brush up in the future. I was having 1-2 counseling meetings before and all I did was talk and talk then time was up. When I arrived Mr. Cohen listened to me and replied back without judging me. He explained what hypnosis is and how we were going to use it to make changes. He let me receive a free assessment with a chiropractor and fitness coach. They have both helped me also with exercises that have also made me feel better. When I came in, I was hoping to do hypnosis with only one meeting but I was actually the one to ask for another meeting in a few days. I was asked to wait a week for our next meeting so the hypnosis and my exercises could start to take place. I feel much better because I understand better what was wrong. I even saw my old counselor once and she saw my change. She asked for Mr. Cohen's number too.
I hired Loukia to help me with my stress and overall health. Her approach is unique. She works on changing your behaviors and mindset. She's very supportive and provided me with tools to help reduce my stress and lose weight. She's not about quick fixes. She works to get you to a point where your behavior changes for the long haul. You are really doing all the work but she has this way of getting you to see through your own BS and excuses so you WANT to change. I've worked with dietitians and nutritionists before (along with personal trainers). They were good but I never really worked through my "stuff." I think every adult can use a wellness coach!

Roger loves what he does. He has a great personality. He is very professional and patient . I have worked with him for seven months now, and I feel accomplished seeing how far I’ve come with his guidance . I went from scheduling appointments once a week to 3-4 days a week . His ability to coach me through the exercises while giving a clear understanding of what and why I’m doing something is awesome. Whenever I reach my goals , he’s always on top of it to effectively modify my workout plan/ routine.

I had the pleasure of not only training with Sam, but also working alongside him at the Sachs Recreation Center (SRC). For the better part of a year I would watch Sam train his clients. During this time, I was working out 5-7 days a week, sometimes twice a day. I was getting results but not really the ones I wanted. Sam then introduced me to the world of kettlebell training, and I haven’t looked back. My goals were to lose weight, get stronger, become more flexible, and of course learn the fundamentals of kettlebell training. In less than 6 months my body composition has totally changed. I went from a bulky 200 lbs. to a leaner 185 lbs. (and still going down). My pull-up max has more than doubled since training with Sam. Among other exercises, Sam corrected my form on the dead-lift and squat. The weight I’ve been able to use for those have since gone up significantly. I think the most exciting part of my progress is that I’ve actually been working out about half as much as I was before. Sam would always tell me “train smarter, not harder.” And that mentality has stuck with me. Although my flexibility is still not where I’d like it to be, I’ve made a tremendous amount of progress with Sam. He actually taught me how to stretch, warm up, and foam roll more efficiently than a decade worth of soccer coaches has been able to. The kettlebell training is by far my favorite thing Sam has taught me. Kettlebells allow me to blend my aerobic and anaerobic training more fluidly. In fact, I enjoyed the kettlebells so much that I’ll be investing in my own now that I’m away at college. I think most of my weight loss came from the kettlebell circuits and the diet advice Sam has given me. Sam is the only trainer I would recommend to anyone in the area. Not only is he a pleasure to be around but he has extensive knowledge in all things pertaining to your body. He will not just tell you what to do and how to do it, but why it’s important at an anatomical and physiological level. Sam helped me reach my health and fitness goals and set me on the right path to improve even more. I know he would love to help you reach your goals as well, you just got to let him!
What I like about Aiga Jekabsone is that she knows how to motivate me, she makes each of my training sessions challenging but rewarding. I would have no hesitation in recommending her as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals.
Jill is amazing!! She's a wonderful instructor. Amazing, insanely-talented coach with an up-lifting personality. The classes are so much fun and very beneficial to all aspects of your well-being. She is very flexible with my busy schedule. I'm so grateful to have been introduced to Jill, she's helped me to tone my core, increase my flexibility and has helped reduce my over all stress. I highly, highly recommend that you drop in for a few classes - it'll be a decision you won't regret!
