I'm so sorry for this. I thought you were asking how you should connect with someone (email or phone) based on the information I initially provided. We have learned that direct contact with our intake provides the best service. My understanding was that you would call or email and that we would respond from there. Clearly, I misunderstood. My apologies.
They sent a very nice detailed response on how their nutritionist could help me with nutrition and weight loss goals. They said they could arrange for me to speak with her before making an appointment and that if I had BCBS my appointments would likely be covered. I responded that I would like to speak with the nutritionist. I declined the other responder. After that I never heard from them again. Hi Kathy, I am so sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this caused you. Because of this event we have updated our policy for Thumbtack inquiries. We are directing everyone through our front desk where Allene will answer any questions and get people started. While I never want anyone to have such an experience, I appreciate the feedback and we will approach these situations differently moving forward. No one should ever be left wondering.

Very disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled thru Margo with a therapist that she recommended. My appointment was for 10 AM on November 11th, 2015 and was confirmed. The doctor not only did not show up, but NOBODY has bothered to call me. What would have happened if this was an emergency or a visit that I really really needed? I truly apologize that you were put through this today. There are no excuses. We had a miscommunication on our end. I can tell you that in nearly 30 years of practice we have not had this happen and I really regret that it happened to you today. We have left messages in an attempt to see how we might be of assistance, even if that means providing you with a referral outside of our practice. Again, I apologize.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We work with many insurance companies and will honor the pricing as outlined by their insurance carrier. If someone does not have insurance, we will attempt to work with them financially.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We work to get people in as quickly as possible. Our intake team will meet with a new client and will connect them with the counselor that will best meet their needs. Since we have 17 counselors on staff, we often are able to match people with someone who is a good fit for their individualized needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We are all master or doctoral level counselors, many with added certifications.
