Richard Salyars of Straight Shooters Hauling Services has no insurance, breaks things, and wont do anything about it. I asked him to pick up a treadclimber (like a treadmill)from someone's home to bring to me. When he arrived he put 3 screws and 4 washers in my hand and said, "we had to take it apart." (he smelt like alcohol as well) When they brought it in the plastic casing was broken and can not be reattached. The plastic was pulled off as if they tried to lift it from the plastic and it broke off. Also, the grey chord was hanging from the bottom of the counsel. They attempted to reassemble but kept saying, I dont know about these things. He said the plastic casing fell off when they first touched it. When the council was put up it wouldnt start and there is a screw missing on the structure now. The chord that goes through the counsel down to the ground and back through the metal casing to hook to the motor was hanging out the bottom. It had a kink. He then decided to open the casing and now the electrical wiring is exposed. I paid him $120 in cash so they would leave my home. The next day I called him and I asked why did he not call me or take a picture then. Richard Salyars said, I thought you knew it was broken when you bought it. I told him when I tried it 2 weeks ago it was together and worked. I asked him why he didnt call when he decided he needed to take it apart cause I would have declined. Richard said, its like when I take a mirror off a dresser. I said a treadcliamber is much different than a dresser. When I asked what he is going to do he said, nothing. I asked about him using his insurance and he said, I dont have any insurance. I said I thought you were a professional mover. He said, I am not a professional. I am not mover I am a hauler. Eventually this obviously not a professional hung up on me. I paid $1200 for this treadclimber which is broken now and does not work.

I called and told what I needed done. They gave me a quote over the phone and I accepted (I needed three 'large' items hauled away to junk yard-enough to fill a bed of a full size pick-up). People kept saying, "oh put it out to the street and the garbage people will pick it up." No, there's a limit to what I'll set out on 'the curb'.
