FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services are charged by the job unless a special request is made. My fee is for the specific things I do to keep your home clean. I do not do extras without being paid for them. I do a deeper clean the first time then move into maintenance mode in subsequent visits. If you take time off between visits, I charge extra to do deeper clean to get back on track. This saves me time and helps me to be more efficient. If you live beyond a 15 mile radius, I charge .60 per mile round trip for the use of my vehicle as allowed by the IRS. I am self employed and pay my own taxes. Your check is your receipt. If I incur any fees from my bank for "insufficient" funds, I reserve the right to charge you for that fee and any other fees incurred in collecting my wages including attorneys fees. I prefer to do a walk-thru of your property before giving a firm quote. So often there is more involved than just a standard cleaning. The price you receive from me on here is a basic estimate. I will give you a firm price upon our mutual acceptance and hiring. I reserve the right to raise or lower my estimate upon seeing your home in person. ETIQUETTE: If you take any extended time off during winter or summer, you will be required to pay a fee of $100.00 to keep you on my schedule. This fee will apply towards your next cleaning. It’s just to ensure you do not keep an open spot in my schedule only to have you cancel on me. I do not ask for tips or any other compensation other than my fee, however like other service industry, you may choose to include a year end bonus if you wish.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come by for a walk-thru of your property and I will give you a firm price quotation based upon my findings and meeting my client. On the days I am scheduled to clean, I don't mind if you are home, but I prefer that your home is picked up and your pets are not in the way. I ACCEPT CASH, CHECKS, VENMO or PAYPAL.
