Michael first became interested in holistic health while studying medicine in China. While visiting rural communities that utilize acupuncture in everyday medicine, he observed first-hand its astounding effects on pain management and general well-being. After much soul-searching after graduating from Kalamazoo College (MI) with a double major in biology and Spanish, Michael came to the conclusion that TCM offered him exactly what he was looking for: an integrative and holistic approach to medicine that was able to successfully treat a wide array of pathologies. Treating hundreds of patients in Chicago at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine's renowned free clinic gave Michael the necessary tools to become the practioner he is today.
