We have had many private chefs and caterers. We have found our “go to” chef service. Food was amazing. Mike and Matt were fun. They entertained the kids at the bar as they cooked, served.. and cleaned up. If you have never had a personal chef, try them. If you have before, uplevel to them. And by the way.. the cost was a bargain. Dinner for 8 with wine and beer pairing Less than $100 per person Insanely goid!
Diana catered our mother's memorial lunch- a function for about 50 people. The food (lasagna- both vegetarian and with meat, deviled eggs, spanakopita, tiropita, and salad) were all very good. The presentation was beautiful. Her desert of chocolate covered strawberries was also excellent. Diana and her husband were on time and did the little extras- fancy plastic ware for the salad and eggs, providing an insulated bag to keep the lasagna warm until lunch was served 90 minutes later. Her prices were very reasonable.
Ethan at Mad City Chefs did an excellent job catering our wedding. All of the food was outstanding and our guests raved about it. They specialize in small plates but worked with us to put together a delicious assortment of appetizers and a dinner buffet. Honestly it was some of the best food I've ever had and I am a pretty good cook who eats out a lot. The Peruvian chicken was divine and the citrus salmon was the best salmon I've ever tasted. Ethan and his staff were just wonderful to work with and we couldn't have been happier. My only regret is we left the next day for the honeymoon and had to give away most of the left overs. I highly recommend Mad City Chefs!

I am a nonprofit organization owner called Enlightened One. We had an event this past Sunday and at last minute our food truck vendors cancelled on us. I found Good Ol Dogs at11 pm the night before. He save our event. He was on time extremely prepared and his food was awesome! I will definitely be using him again for future events. He was a really nice guy, he was organized, he wore gloves for before touching food changed his gloves for each item he made. I mean he was just great! I highly recommend him!
full dinner and desert menu prepared in our home as part of a wine tasting party. start to finish , they were there about 7 hours. the presentation of the food was exceptional and the food prepared perfectly and in a timely manner. The way the two of them worked in harmony was a pleasure to watch. the only thing that could have been better was not to have had them spend so much time cleaning up after so many messes their clients made .

Chef Jim provided a full-service catering for Northridge Prep's Career Day this past Thursday (March 9, 2017). He created an amazing menu for us that featured classic lasagna with meat sauce; sliced Italian bread with butter; house salad with a choice of three dressings; beverages of lemonade (traditional and strawberry), cold cans of pop, and water; and for dessert dark chocolate mousse profiteroles. We requested a half pan of gluten-free lasagna for those who may have needed that, but Chef Jim made a whole pan at no extra charge. He also called me a week or so before the event to say that he wanted to upgrade the bread and butter to garlic bread and to make another filling (strawberry cheesecake) for the profiteroles to offer people a choice--all for no extra charge! I, of course, said yes! He requested to arrive the day before the event to deliver serving ware and to get a feel for the arrangement of the buffet and dining tables. Chef Jim met with the head of maintenance and, after looking at the arrangement of tables, he even made a suggestion to change the way the buffet was set up--for the better! He arrived with his two assistants in ample time the morning of the luncheon, working in a calm and professional matter. The arrangement of the lunch was perfectly spaced and picture-perfect, and the look of the food was way above our expectations, and we have high expectations! Chef Jim used beautiful, slanted glass bowls for the layered salads, chaffing dishes for the lasagna (which very much kept the pasta warm throughout from the first person being served to the 135th person), baskets for the garlic bread, etc. There were varying heights to display the food, and appropriate utensils to serve each component. Everything was neat and clean, polished and shined. The food looked so elegant, and it was very much noticed and appreciated by our high school students! In addition to the great attention placed on the food and its appearance, Chef Jim also researched our school colors and brought burgundy-colored plates and burgundy and gold-colored napkins. The forks and knives were grouped together and wrapped in a burgundy napkin with a gold tie for each person to take. I couldn't help but notice that even the plastic forks and knives were the kind of plastic that looks like real silver. Every detail was planned and executed to a tee! Of course, taste is everything, and the taste of Chef Jim's meal made for a lasting impression. I was approached by many adults--and teenagers, too--inquiring who this new caterer is (this was the first time we hired Chef Jim to cater for us) and how we have to have him for our events from now on. The head of admissions said that the lasagna tasted like it came from a five-star restaurant! In fact, he outright ordered me to try the lasagna. I tried the gluten-free version, and it was everything you expect lasagna to be--cheesy goodness layered in tender pasta with a rich, meaty tomato sauce with notes of garlic, onion, and herbs. I also tried both profiteroles (Chef Jim made some extra) and wow! I could tell that they were fresh-made, as they were as light, airy, and delicate with generous, rich filling. The compliments just poured in, and I know that they will keep coming for a long time. The lunch was the conclusion of the Career Day for the students, and what a way to end! I offered Chef Jim assistance in cleaning up, but he said that he and his staff had it covered. He was a pleasure to work with, and I look forward to contacting him again for future events. We were all so pleased! Thank you, Chef Jim!!!
Matt was a joy to work with. He had great ideas that fit our budget and really wanted us to have a successful event. Well, our Blue and Gold scout banquet went off without a hitch. The food arrived on time, was set up nicely and there was plenty to go around. Rave reviews from all that attended.
We've hired Chef Sebastian to cater a number of functions for us in the past few years. Whether it was a small birthday party of 100 people or a large picnic with more than 2,000 guests, choosing Chef Sebastian was a no-brainer. Beyond his exceptional cooking ability, food selection and kitchen management, his customer service and performance is second to none. He truly takes pride in every course he provides and treats each function as if he was feeding his own family. There is not other caterer I would use but Chef Sebastian!

LaBelleVie catered our wedding reception in June. I could not have picked a better place. The food was delicious (we had an upscale style taco bar.) The bar they set up was fantastic! They brought a beer garden indoors, with an amazing assortment of cocktails.(we married in an old farm building so it really helped classy up the place)Chris Sutton and her staff worked with me on every thought or concern I may have had. They all really went above and beyond to make sure I had the most perfect wedding reception. I even used their beautifully decorated bar in Aledo IL. to take some of my wedding photos in.
Chef Peter recently catered my wedding. My wife and I were amazed with how wonderful the day went and of all the headaches and problems we encountered there was not one thing that was even a flicker of a worry where Chef Peter was concerned. Professional, kind and very easy to work with. I wish I could get married a second time just so I could enjoy all of the wonderful food they prepared again.
