- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a sliding fee scale for my services. It's my personal policy to assist those in need of mental health counseling who do not have health insurance. I intentionally keep my fees reasonable and affordable.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Many clients I have worked with have struggled with issues related to anxiety disorders and/or depression. Many have experienced the loss of a loved one either through divorce, separation or death. Losses due to losing a job, health impairments, and life transitions are also commonly reported.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I worked with a middle-aged woman who had lost her lucrative position in a large company. She had a great deal of difficulty regaining employment due to her age and the high level of income her previous employment paid. She was experiencing anxiety attacks and was having trouble accepting that she felt no longer valued as an employee and even as a person. After 10 weeks of therapy, she had learned techniques to calm herself and focus on a more productive job search. We discussed some past issues that were contributing to her low self-esteem and she regained her sense of self-worth.
