Introduction: I love couples and weddings! I am a romantic at heart. I have a great personality for a wedding. I have the appropriate balance of reverence when the ceremony demands it. I have been an ordained minister since 2009. I am a trained speaker, a Certified Toastmaster, I do both musical theater and non-musical theater. Additionally I have studied improv at Second City and performed in improv. Seeing couples in love.

Reverend Deb did such an amazing job with our wedding. She has a great personality for it, being funny and kind. For planning, she had a basic outline of what would go on throughout the ceremony and we were able to edit it for exactly what we wanted, which we loved since we wanted it to really reflect who we were. Come the day of, she was very professional with the whole ceremony, but also fun and got the crowd to laugh, which helped ease the nerves for us! She was also well prepared having an umbrella on hand for us in case it rained, which it did for just a moment, but not enough to need it thank heavens! Our day could not have been more perfect, in big part thanks to her and helping us plan and perform the ceremony. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reverend for their wedding!

Debbi was an outstanding officiant for our wedding. So glad we chose her, she had my husband and I laughing hysterically within minutes of meeting her. She was completely organized and kept on top of me to proof read the vows. She accommodated us and our families needs and schedules for everything. Rev. Debra did a magnificent ceremony... I could not have asked for a better services. We added a little touch called handfasting (an Irish tradition) she did not hesitate when I asked her nad did a great job. She was ontime and was very accommodating to our needs. My family and friends all agree. The ceremony was very touching and to the point. I really appreciated that. That was exactly how we wanted it. Thank you Rev. Debra Langland.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated, just a 50% non-refundable deposit holds your date with me. The balance due 30 days prior to the ceremony.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Book your officiant early..please! Our calendars fill up fast. I find couples that book us last, are disappointed because we cannot accommodate their date. Seriously, the officiant should be the second booking in your planning right after the venue. What makes me sad, is a couple who loves me and wants me and I cannot do their wedding because the date is already booked. Booking officiants for 2017 is not early.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I perform a variety of ceremonies: traditional, hand-fasting, spiritual, romantic, 2nd marriages, renewal of vows, same sex. I will craft a ceremony to your specifications. I am non-denominational but a Christian. I cannot do Catholic Mass, Hindu, Buddist, or Jewish ceremonies.
