Rodent and Animal Removal
We had picked Guardian Wild life services based on reviews on this site. We had a problem with a family of raccoons roaming on our deck and leaving their faeces/waste on our deck. The family also lived under our deck. Guardian wild life sold us a package for $718 which included trapping and removal of the raccoons and sealing the entry to our deck with wire mesh with a one year warranty. They came in, set up cameras and laid the traps and sealed the entrance. They came regularly to check the traps for two weeks. The camera captured images of three raccoons trying to enter under the deck. After two weeks Guardian said that they were not able to catch any raccoons but had sealed the deck and were going to remove the traps. Seeing that we were not happy about this - they left the traps for one more day. The last day they did trap one raccoon. After which they quietly removed their camera and traps and left with no communication to us saying that they had completed the job. Meanwhile we still have the two remaining raccoons walking on our deck in the evenings. So the problem remains. Was a complete waste of money. I sent them pictures of the two raccoons on our deck and never heard back from them. Finally called Blake and according to him that is all they can do. I would not bother asking them to get rid of your wildlife problem.
Oct 8, 2019VerifiedGuardian Wildlife Services's replyGuardian was hired to deal with the long term issue of animals living under Minu's deck. We trapped multiple animals out from under the deck and sealed the deck to eliminate the issue overall. Minu lives in a forested area with a large wildlife population many of which have used his deck as a home at one time or another. Minu also had tried to trap himself leaving these animals trap shy from poorly set traps. Guardian never made any claim to be able catch all the raccoons in his area (as there can be up to 40 per sq mile) only to clear the den and close it off. The issue of removing access to the den and clearing the animals from it was resolved. This in the long term will keep animals away from his home once they realize the den is no longer accessible. Minu was also given a 1 year warranty on animals accessing underneath the deck.

WS is AMAZING. They were able to remove the raccoons (in our case the raccoon family got scared from the traps and ran out) within 3 days. THEY ARE THE ONLY COMPANY TO GO INTO AN ATTIC! We hired another company initially. That company threw a trap up there with bait and pretty much said 'good luck" for 4-6 weeks. That company also charges per a visit, per trap removal, per a head. Blake & his company charge a flat fee. I recommend them for removals and trappings. I will continue to use them again if we have issues.

I had Matt come out today to help with a raccoon and babies in my attic. He was kind, courteous and highly capable of completing his job. The babies were removed and a trap has been set for the mother. The job was done professionally and cleanly. I highly recommend this company

I highly recommend this company. Not only were the raccoons removed which had made their way into my attic but they also repaired the area where the critters entered and blocked it permanently. Every single member of this company with whom I have spoken has been courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. My experience with them has been excellent and I am continuing to work with them for rodent control.

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have trapped all my life and got into urban trapping after a raccoon got into my own attic. After working for other companies I decided to open Guardian Wildlife Services.
