"We have been training with Elijah - Physical Peak – for a little over a year now. My husband and I both have had great results. We love the ease and convince of having him train us in our home, without that we wouldn’t be making the life style changes we both have needed. He has helped coach us on nutrition changes also. About half way through our year we got pregnant and I have been able to continue working with him through my whole pregnancy, my doctor has said I am doing great and my health, blood test, blood pressure etc. has been right on track through my whole pregnancy. We highly recommend Elijah and his services if you’re looking to make a long term lifestyle change and need some help and direction to make those changes! You will see great results following his advice and exercise plans!"

"Being a novice in gym workouts, I decided to take help of fitness trainer, Tyrone Walton. I have attended a total of 5 early morning sessions with him till now and all of them are really helpful. He is extremely knowledgeable and has guided me through the exercises during the sessions. We do have light friendly conversations during the sessions which make them even more effective. The gym itself is very clean and rarely crowded. Also, I find workouts to be appropriate to my level of fitness. Tyrone has a very sound strategy to slowly pace yourself to muscle building. In a nutshell, I will highly recommend Tyrone's fruitful personal training sessions to others and I myself is excited to keep working out with him."

"Medel has been a constant support in helping me to achieve my fitness goals. His knowledge and expertise have been put to good use as we frequently need to alter the course of our training program. Medel has a strong sense of when I can be pushed to work harder and when we need to take a step back. He is a wonderful trainer who cares about his clients and their goals!"

"I was doing high intensity interval training, which caused serious injuries to my knee and shoulder, so I wanted to get back into full body resistance training and cardio. After reading reviews, I chose Dan. It has been a wonderful ride ever since. He's very smart, thoughtful, and incredibly enthusiastic. He spends a great deal of time tracking your numbers so that there is genuine accountability as to the extent of your progress. After I saw the orthopedist about my shoulder and went to physical therapy, Dan took the recommended physical therapy exercises and integrated them directly into my workouts. Very creative; very cool. He's easy to communicate by text or email, and incredibly responsive. He's also very knowledgeable about the Chicago performing arts scene, which I enjoy discussing with him. Bottom line: I'm getting stronger; feeling more fit and confident; and not getting injured. Dan's been great."

"I met Ro through a mutual friend a few years ago. I have been a triathlete for about five years but, the past two years I have given up running and focused more on cycling and swimming. Between teaching a spin class, swimming 3 miles a week, and biking 80 plus miles a week I noticed I just wasn’t recovering fast enough from all the exercise. I sat down with Ro for a one on one consultation. Ro dissected my entire nutrition habits. She took in account for everything I ate from the time I woke up until the time I went to bed, Monday through Sunday. After her analysis of the results she noticed my carb intake was much higher than my protein intake . She introduced me to some foods I never thought I would ever eat like quinoa and tofu. She took my food list and substituted these items for some of the carbs I could take out of my diet. Thanks to Ro I feel my recovery time has been shortened and I can expedite my recovery time. Ro checks in with me on a monthly basis to make sure I’m still on pace. If it wasn’t for this help from Ro I would still be scratching my head searching the Internet for what I’m doing wrong. I owe her a big thanks. Dan T"

"I have had such a wonderful experience training with Unicus Fitness. I am an amateur aerialist and I came here after a shoulder injury to try to build my strength back up. (I couldn't even open a door with the injured arm for almost a month after the injury.) I knew that if I kept going on my own the way I was it was only a matter of time before I injured myself again so I went looking for a trainer. I originally picked the place because it was close to work and had good reviews, but Frank's depth of knowledge and experience is astounding. I have learned so much about how my body works, how to push myself without hurting myself and all sorts of exercises I never would have known about if I hadn't come here. He customized my workouts to my specific needs and now I'm back in the air, swinging around with confidence. The gym itself has plenty of space and more fitness equipment than I've seen in one place outside a commercial warehouse store. The workouts are a little different each time as well, you will definitely not be bored. I've recommended this place to several people, the things I have learned here have been invaluable to me, not only just for my general fitness and health but also for my quest to avoid more injury. If you choose Unicus, you will not be disappointed in the results, I highly recommend it."

"My wife and I have been training with Sam for over three years. He has proven to be a very knowledgable person in regards to health and fitness. He has successfully taught us both to train with kettle bells. He is a great teacher! We both train with kettle bells at an advanced level and it has been a great evolution. He is very in tune with our training goals and mindful of our individual needs. I have felt I have been given a great gift in finding Sam and being able to learn kettle bell training. My wife trains with Sam twice a week and I try to train with him monthly as my busy schedule won't allow more time. The beauty of kettle bells is that I am able to do high intensity workouts in my own home without an investment of a great deal of time. My training with Sam has allowed me to transform my body as I enter my 40's. I would consider myself a kettle bell trainer and only because of my time and learning from Sam. He has also helped me tremendously by teaching me stretching techniques that help to keep me healthy. We highly recommend Sam to any prospective client."
