Afterward earning his degree he became an active freelancer and performer around New Jersey and New York City.
Before his relocation to Chicago, Seth taught violin, viola and piano throughout central New Jersey and served on faculty of the Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension Division. He also taught in the Princeton Public School district as an elementary strings instructor. He teaches with an approach based on technique and musical originality, and is certified in the Suzuki method of string education. Seth is an active member of the American String Teachers Association and the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
My favorite part of teaching is making a difference in someone's life, whether it's just helping someone reach a goal or going the extra mile and helping to craft a complete, soulful human being. Music has a very special way of being able to teach us about much more than just rhyrhms and melodies and I absolutely love finding that specifically in each individual student."
