Gordy has been my keyboard (piano and organ) instructor since 2002. I started learning the piano as an adult. I've had piano and violin lessons in the past, so I'm experienced with teachers. Gordy is the best private lesson instructor I've had, which explains my long experience with him! He's the perfect blend of a teacher that inspires, yet isn't pushy toward perfection. He also instructs my wife and two children (ages 6 and 9). We're currently doing this in our home, which has worked well, and all 4 of us can take lessons in an evening. Gordy is also a great piano tuner/repair person, and has kept our 90+ year old baby grand which has been in the family in good repair. I can definitely recommend Gordy as an instructor for students of any age or ability.

Gordy is fun to work with. He's totally reliable, knows a ton of tunes, and is engaging and personable. I'd be very happy to work with him anytime. I hired him once to do a 70th birthday party, with a huge list of specific tunes. He came through with flying colors. Worked with him in a club a few times, and it was fun and rewarding.

For an Eastern Star event Gordy provided some dinner music and about 45 min of entertainment afterward playing requests and sing-a-long music that our guests loved. Also recommended a vocalist for us and she was very good too
