My fiancé and I have been working with Linda for the last several weeks. Being in a long distance relationship, my fiancé and I were happy to find someone who could counsel with us over the phone and accommodate our needs. When searching for a counselor, Linda was very quick in her response to me. We've been pleased with the material and assessments she uses, which helps us evaluate our relationship, building on strengths and working on weaknesses. Linda has a professional yet friendly demeanor and is always on time. My favorite part of our assortment is when we talk about things that have happened during the week. Linda gives us wisdom and practical ideas for coming up with solutions to work out our differences. This advice is so appropriate to our individual personalities and our relationship (and she never chooses sides) that we will continue to seek out her expertise when we hit any bumps in our marriage road as well.

Robin exudes patience, love and empathy. She is one of my trusted advisors always setting me straight and providing me with sound counsel.
I have had two meetings so far and do not think we will need many more for now. I still have many things to do on my own and probably will need a brush up in the future. I was having 1-2 counseling meetings before and all I did was talk and talk then time was up. When I arrived Mr. Cohen listened to me and replied back without judging me. He explained what hypnosis is and how we were going to use it to make changes. He let me receive a free assessment with a chiropractor and fitness coach. They have both helped me also with exercises that have also made me feel better. When I came in, I was hoping to do hypnosis with only one meeting but I was actually the one to ask for another meeting in a few days. I was asked to wait a week for our next meeting so the hypnosis and my exercises could start to take place. I feel much better because I understand better what was wrong. I even saw my old counselor once and she saw my change. She asked for Mr. Cohen's number too.
Pastor Egan and I did biblical counseling to help me with various life issues I was facing. He was always on time, kept our appointments, was very friendly, professional, kind, encouraging, supportive and compassionate. He helped me more than any other counselor ever has. He guided me and was very to the point without being pushy or putting pressure on me. He is very good working with people and truly cares about helping people better their lives. I would go back to him with any future counseling needs I may have.

My life experience helps inform my work, in this case being middle aged is an asset. I believe that service to others is my primary motivation for the work I do - it makes me feel good to be able to help others. As I watch people change and grow, I am in awe of their strength and resiliency, assets that people don't always know they possess become apparent.

Minister Cynthia Marie Williams offers spiritual counseling, providing advice and support for a person to more fully experience her/his spiritual nature. Minister Cynthia Marie Williams' counseling usually only touches lightly upon areas that are normally dealt with in personal psychology (such as relations, self-image, self-worth, habits and behaviors). The major focus is upon aspects such as the following: * faith * devotion * wisdom * compassion * spiritual techniques (e.g. prayer and meditation) * spiritual experiences In general, Minister Williams' counseling works best through respect. The individual giving advice is at heart, really not that much different than the individual asking for it! Only, the counselor usually has had more experience about the topics being discussed. When that topic is spirituality, the aim is to empower a basically well-adjusted person to further his/her growth towards recognizing and becoming part of the larger experience that we call life. Attend The Laws Of Attraction Telephone Conference on June 23, 2012. Minister Cynthia Marie Williams Host. Cost: $10.00. My services can be found at Calm Minds Studio in Libertyville, where I work with the planners, worriers, achievers, and multi-taskers who are so busy taking care of other people (and things) that they need help taking care of themselves. Sound like you? Do you: Commute to work or sit at a desk all day and have low back pain, neck and shoulder tension or stand up all day and have tired feet? Have trouble sleeping through the night or trouble falling asleep? Want to feel more focused and present in your day? Want to stop the worrying thoughts and keep you up at night and distract you from your day? Want to feel more relaxed, flexible and balanced? Want to feel happier, more content and fulfilled? I offer a different type of experience. Walking into Calm Minds Studio for coaching, counseling, yoga therapy or a yoga class, you'll find that right away you can come as you are. There are no plush chairs or stigmas. I offer an open, non-intimidating and relaxing environment for you to get what you need, 100% customized for you. Some examples: - A client wants a private yoga class where regardless of the type of day she's day, we can guide her in a relaxing or energizing session that meets her exact needs. Some days it's a lot of floor stretches and other days it's breathing deeply into more strength building poses. - A client wants yoga therapy but really realizes she just wants a non-conventional counseling experience. Her therapist wears yoga clothes. The client sits on a yoga mat in a softly lit room. The client talks and the therapist offers guidance from a unique perspective of helping the client to be more present, accepting and in control. - A client just wants alone time as a busy mom of 3. She uses her time to talk, sometimes exercise, sometimes do yoga, sometimes just lie down and relax. We take both BCBS insurance and offer a sliding scale for self-paying clients. We are completely customizable and promise an experience like you've never had before. Take the stigma out of taking care of yourself. Be proud to come to Calm Minds, where you know you'll get the tools to be a better version of yourself, for yourself and those you love and interact with. Get relaxed. Feel present.
