I have been training with Chitown trainers for several months. I attend the yoga classes and utilize the personal training service. The trainers are extremely professional and competent. The training has been the best training experience I have had because they work at your level and gradually build your tolerance and strength. Tara has been my yoga instructor for nearly 12 years. I take group classes 1-2 days a week, she is incredibly patient & aware of individual needs. I have enjoyed her classes & the health benefits that they have given me. I would never use another yoga instructor, she is awesome.

My experience with Lymphatic Drainage and Healing Touch performed by Dr. Sylvia Hood Washington I believe had a positive effect on reducing inflammation in my body. The few days after therapy I noticed less aches and pain in my muscles & joints. I hold a lot of stress related tension in my muscles, so it was great to have some relief. During the therapy Dr. Sylvia kept me informed with what she was doing and why she was doing it. I liked how she integrated different modalities along with the lymphatic draining. She incorporated some yoga stretching and breathing as well as healing touch techniques. On top of relieving some of my inflammatory muscle and joint pain, Dr.Sylvia found an inflamed lymph node under my arm. It was likely inflamed because I was feeling on the verge of a virus. She was able to drain the lymph node and we could no longer feel an inflamed lump under my arm. I believe this procedure helped me to beat the virus that never transpired. In addition to being a Certified Lymphatic Therapist, Dr. Sylvia has vast knowledge and expertise in the medical field as an Environmental Epidemiologist and Public Health Professional. She has the ability to treat a person holistically while helping them discover how their environment may be affecting their health issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Sylvia Hood Washington as a Nautropathic Doctor for Lymphatic Wellness.

Those who have taken Kenneth King’s yoga class know the feeling of leaving not only centered and flexible but, “inches taller” as well. Influenced by his experience as a ballroom dance instructor, Ken builds his class on the belief that proper alignment is fundamental. He guides you down the path to inner peace all the while making sure you start and maintain proper posture. Ken’s classes are the right mixture of repeated poses that build strength and confidence, as well as new poses that challenge us – just as he urges students to reflect on one’s Past and Present inner self while holding a pose. I leave Ken’s class feeling like I’ve just had a massage – a little relaxed, a bit at peace and “inches taller.” Julie

    This past November on Monday nights, I, for the first time ever, started to attend yoga classes with Steph as my instructor! Steph is truly an amazing yoga teacher! As soon as I get to class my stress level drops after the crazy day I have had and as we get started I know the next hour or so is going to be the best, most enjoyable part of my day ☺️ I haven't really taken yoga classes before, but Steph does an incredible job of showing you and helping you get into the perfect position for each and every single pose you do. I have only taken classes on Mondays this past month, but feel like I have learned so much! I also am already feeling like I am noticing some of the benefits of yoga including increased flexibility and strength, along with improved breathing, and better posture. Not to forget to mention that I think it has and will continue to be so great for me post ACL and meniscus surgery. I look forward to continuing taking classes with Steph and seeing more positive results from yoga in the future! I highly recommend her to anybody looking to start or continue the amazing practice of yoga 🙏🏼 Steph is the best and has studied and done yoga all around the world and continues to do so, which makes her the best yogi and yoga instructor ever 💙💙💙
