I started working one on one with Patrick 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier with my decision! I had previously taken his group fitness classes and always gotten a lot of out them. Working with him one on one has taken it to a new level. He motivates me to do things I would never do on my own. I train with Patrick 3 times a week and every workout is different, challenging, and makes me feel good about myself. I never thought I would look forward to "getting my butt kicked" :) Patrick is also a great nutrition coach. He laid out a plan for me and holds me accountable...just what I needed. We always talk about my progress and ways to improve. Investing in a personal trainer was one of the best investments I ever made. Patrick is highly motivating, personable, knowledgeable, and always brings a positive, fun attitude. I would highly recommend him.

Meeting Mike Rundell was the best thing that ever happened to me! He has changed my life in so many ways. He trained me for the better part of three years and in that time he focused on strength training and on nutrition...as many of you may know not a lot of trainers take the time because you are just $$$ but Dr. Mike sincerely cares that you achieve your goal. I started out a plump young lady with close to 30 percent body fat and by the time we were done I was lean and mean at near 18 percent body fat. My experience with Dr. Mike has been top notch...and the things I have learned from him along the way will stay with me forever! He not only transformed my body but my mind as well...happy workouts!!!

Destination Fitness is the best! This is by far the best money I have ever spent! I wasted so much money on health clubs that I never went to. I tried tapes and classes at various clubs and park districts. I never stuck to any plan until I tried Destination Fitness and Jill's team. Jill was so caring and listened to my story. She helped put together a plan and introduced me to her trainer Marty and her Registered Dietitian Melissa. For the first time everything clicked! They did not make me feel like I had to drop and give them 20 push ups. They created fun exercises for me to follow that I actually enjoyed! Melissa the RD was amazing. She listened to me as well and helped me create a menu plan that I could follow on my busy schedule. It's almost impossible to stick to a diet when your work schedule means you are traveling, but Melissa made it work! If you are considering using an in home trainer, please call Destination Fitness. I have known Nancy for about 5 years. When I first met her she was teaching exercise classes at a local health club.I had not taken to many exercise classes so was not to sure about participating. I enjoyed the classes and did decide to personal train with her. After a few weeks I wondered if I might join her running team. At that time I was overweight, had walked for 30+ years.Running was not a thing that I wanted to do nor was working out with a group. Today age 62 I am planning to run my 2nd 1/2 marathon in Chicago,Working out is my lifestyle. My weight is 30 pounds lighter.I feel the best a I have in many years. My confidence is unbelievable.I participate in Sprint Triathlons in the winter months. I try to be a role model for the younger members as well as people my age. It is very important to me and with Nancy's encourgement I have done thing in my life that have been so rewarding to me.
Working with a trainer is a scary thing to do but not being confident with your self and maintaining your overall health, is even scarier. Ryan is probably one of the greatest personal trainers in the Illinois area. There are so many wonderful things about him, I could go on forever. I would recommend Ryan to absolutely anyone! My workouts are fun and I look forward to every single visit and I have never felt better and have never looked better !

This review is after an initial discussion meeting and the first workout session. Diarmuid is a patient, thorough, encouraging instructor. As I performed each exercise he demonstrated or described, he complimented the parts I did correctly, then worked with me (repeatedly on some moves) to get the other parts correct as well, until I was able to do all or most of the reps without mistakes. Diarmuid not only showed concern about my health during the workout session and the initial conversation, but also in his follow up. He created and sent tracking charts, then discussed modifications after observing my ability levels for the various exercises. Although it took me a long time to decide to work with a personal trainer, Diarmuid has made me happy I finally made this decision.
Marissa is awesome. She comes to my home and we work on health, fitness and nutrition as tailored for my needs and goals. I'm newly retired and needed the push to get moving and build strength. She makes working out fun and keeps our sessions challenging. I highly recommend her! Wonderful person and talented trainer!
