My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey just a month ago but she is so excited every week to go. We have been very happy with how Stacey has progressed her - continually adding more difficult pieces to work on to see what she can do. This is our first experience w music lessons of any type and we are really happy with Stacey De & Co! Even my son, who never wants to try anything new, has started asking about taking drum lessons there. We couldn't be happier :)

Britt taught violin to our 4 year old for 2 months until we moved out of state. She was patient and caring and I could see my daughter's progress from week to week. Also, she did lessons in our home which was extremely convenient and she had some flexibility with her schedule. Easy to work with.

I have had many sessions with Stephanie, who is an absolute professional and outstanding musician and violin instructor. To put things in perspective, I am a 26 year old male with no prior experience in music theory or violin practice. After the first two sessions, I was able to play several notes and simple tunes on my own. I have since had several more sessions, and am very excited to continue with lessons. I find myself feeling excited to practice at home on my own, and making time to try Stephanie's techniques; It's just that fun. Stephanie is receptive, patient and incredibly skilled at finding ways to teach violin from an integrative, individual approach. She is worth every penny and I am incredibly lucky to have found her as my instructor.

Marlena is the best! Not only is she very knowledgeable and talented, but she is also very nice. She is great at assessing her student's skills and challenges them appropriately. I am a 27 year old former trombone player who wants to learn piano, and I would recommend her for any age and talent level.

I contacted Jerry, inquiring about in-home guitar lessons for my daughter. He replied immediately with helpful suggestions of an instructor. When I realized my daughter wanted a female instructor Jerry went out of his way to find out more about my daughter and the kind of instructor who would be compatible with her. He then suggested one of two female instructors he felt would meet her needs. I was impressed with the time and effort he put into helping me find an instructor for her. This was extraordinary that he would take the time to help me when it did not directly benefit him and he did not even know me! I had originally contacted Jerry because of his highly regarded reputation for teaching and instruction. But now I also hold him in high regard for his kindness and dedication to helping others find their way into the world of music.

I’ve been taking violin lessons from Clete for 1 ½ years as one of his adult student. His teaching style has worked very well for me in that his critiques are concise and to the point, and he demonstrates how to make beautiful sounds with it. For each week’s assignment the amount is just right, with one or two particular areas to make improvement. Violin is not an easy instrument, and yet Clete doesn’t make me feel discouraged during the learning process.

Corie was my daughter’s first private violin teacher, and she was the perfect foundation for not just the love of the instrument but also the precise technique and skills needed to develop a true musician. Even years later, my daughter’s current teachers are impressed with the solid foundation she received under Corie’s tutelage. Corie made learning a challenging instrument fun at an age-appropriate level without giving up on any high standards. Whether it was learning to read music, developing ear and intonation, or perfecting a bow hold, Corie had multiple ways to teach, to address habits and difficulties, and to share experiences with the larger studio in group lessons. We still use her teaching reminders and phrases during practices sessions. With Corie’s violin lessons, you get more than just basic instruction; you get a surprisingly well-rounded introduction to true musicianship.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons at Lyriq since January and our experience has been nothing but wonderful. Evan is great with her and at her young age of 5 recognizes her strengths and what she needs to focus on to make the most of her talent. She loves working with "Mr. Evan" and looks forward to class each week. The office staff, especially the owner Sarah Ma, is extremely professional and flexible, including accommodating changes to lesson schedules. The well-designed facility is brand new with top-notch instruments and individualized rooms for all private lessons, with a grand piano in the front room that is used for recitals. Added bonus for us...it's within walking distance from our house! :)

Both of my children (boy and girl) have taken piano lessons from Ada for 5 years. They love working with her. She is the perfect mix of fun and serious. She has also given them a music theory foundation that have used to learn other instruments.

I was looking for a violin teacher for my daughter. Her previous teacher of 8 years was a successful Suzuki teacher who had more than 30 students. My daughter is a hard worker and After 8 years, her skills was limited and lacks ability to play with phasing and musically. Her teacher only focused on writing fingering on music and as soon as student can play from beginning to the end of piece, then it's ready to move on to the next piece in Suzuki book. It was a frustrating experience that my daughter's violin playing was robotic and completely lack of musicality ( so were all 30 of her students). Sadly, my daughter started losing interest in daily practice, from 1 hr to 10 min. I was worry that she will give up taking violin lessons after 8 years of study. Then a colleague referred me to Steven Maloney from Violin Lessons Chicago. He changed my daughters life! Steve inspired her to play with confidence with real feeling, not just play the notes. She had lost interest in violin, but now she's so excited to practice and make music. I can't thank Steve enough. Bravo!! He's the best!!!

I took violin lessons and my sister took piano lessons from Carol for two years. She was always very patient, explained things in a very clear way, and was very encouraging. We were very sorry when we no longer had time to continue our lessons. Anybody who gets to take lessons from Carol should consider them self lucky.

My daughter took lessons with Manny to prepare for a high school audition. I was very surprised by how serious she took the lessons. His expectations came across as very clear and motivational. My daughter loved her violin lessons and is now playing for her high school’s orchestra!

We love Bellas Artes! The teachers excel at combining technique and joyful discovery within an atmosphere of encouragement. My kids LOVE their lessons with Destiney and Constance and, more importantly, are learning to love to play music while being challenged and encouraged. Having such talented musicians who are so gifted in working with kids is such a blessing! Practically speaking, it is great because with 5 kids it is huge to have both piano and violin lessons in the same place, and they are always gracious in working with my schedule. We highly recommend Bellas Artes!

We had a trial lesson with Diana and as soon as we walked in. Diana was friendly kind but most of all professional. She got to it as soon as we walked in and it was like the best experience we have had. She is a pro and makes you feel the same way. She was hands on allowing my daughter to play the violin as she was helping her. She learned to play a whole song as well as the notes. It was easy for her to come home and play on her own and use what so learned. All of this on a trial wow..... we can't wait for more lessons my daughter is excited for the next lesson and can't wait to learn more.to sums things up I recommend Diana if your child's has passion to learn the violin, you won't be disappointed.
