Hired Gary to take down a plaster wall because he gave a low quote and seemed like a straightforward guy. We needed it taken down on a Saturday, which he said he could do, with maybe a little clean up leftover for Monday. We paid 1/2 up front. He came in on Saturday - by himself, no crew and it was an almost 70 foot wall with windows in it. When asked where his crew was, he was a little evasive about their whereabouts and it became clear that he was all there was. At 2pm he got tired and quit for the day with the wall only 1/2 down. No direct answer about when he'd be back. When we called, he waited until after hours to respond, saying that if we wanted the rest of the wall down, he'd have to hire more people and it would cost us more as he hadn't allowed for that in the original quote. He had done the quote in person and knew exactly what needed to be done as well as the timing needed so there was no reason for this to happen Very disappointed. We ended up hiring someone else to finish the job who got it done in a few hours.

the above statement by linda is false not only is this not a true statement she was not even the one involved in this demo work.she said there was no time frame on this office demo she add more work on she said they would not pay for.the only money they paid out for was the dumpster no labor fee at all.

I had a few ceiling drywall cracks (1 large crack 1 medium crack and 2 smaller cracks) and about 6-8 nail pops. (The damage was cause by Comcast) These cracks were on a Textured Ceiling. SourceOne Contracting did a great job repairing and most of all matching the existing texture and paint that was on the ceiling. Very neat and he cleaned up everything after the job was completed. I am 100% satisfied with the work that was done and would definitely recommend SourceOne Contracting to anyone who needs work done in their home.

I don't even know where to begin when it comes to Gary and Source One! My company wanted to get some work done for a shelter that helps Veterans and had me look for a contractor. I came across Gary on Thumbtack and the entire experience working with him has been beyond excellent! Gary got the job done in less time than expected but the quality of his work was far greater than expected as well. He is personable, professional, fair and honest. The people who work full time at the shelter raved about Gary. They are so grateful for the wonderful work he did on their offices. I couldn't have asked for a better contractor!
