I met Mr. Chaudhuri at his Southside office, he knew his stuff, I felt relaxed after sitting down with him, he gave me best and worst case outcomes, hard to find honest lawyers anymore, I met with a few different lawyers before him, and he was by far the best, I'm very happy I hired him instead of the others I met with

Christine Thurston is a very professional, knowledgable yet personable attorney that put me at ease during our first conversation. It seems she works no matter the time of day or night and got back to me immediately! Never left me hanging or refused my calls! I couldn't be happier with her and would, and will, refer her without reservation! I've dealt with lawyers before and Christine was a pleasure to work with through the whole experience! I can honestly say, thanks to her I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel! Thank you Christine for your tireless efforts and unwavering dedication to your clients!

I contacted Dean with regards to a potential bankruptcy filing and I found him to be incredibly helpful during our phone call. Not only was he much more knowledgeable than other lawyers to whom I spoke, he also was very personable and I could tell that he has integrity. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal services, and I plan on keeping his number to give to others in the future, and for my own future use.

Michael is one of the most down to earth lawyers that you will ever meet. He has a strong sense of humor and always has his clients best interest in mind. After working with Michael over the past year and a few months, I could tell that he did not just care about the "money" but also about my well-being. To show he cared, he would call or send a simple text every week to see how I was recovering from my accident. Michael built a sense of trust by being honest throughout the entirety of the process. Now that my case is coming to an end, I can truly say that he did everything in his power to make sure that my case got what it worth. I highly recommend hiring Michael!

Attorney Gonet and DPG Family Law handled a very contested case involving me and my family. I can't say enough good things about Attorney Gonet. He is highly knowledgeable and even advises other attorneys on best legal strategies. He gets along very well with the judges and knows what will work and what will not. He is aggressive when needed and is able to reach settlements of issues without me having to give up anything. A pleasure to work with and I slept good at night knowing that was my attorney. I can't recommend him enough.

Even though there may be extenuating circumstances such as a spouse passing away or issues with your children, it is always difficult and embarrassing to find yourself financially in trouble. And even more difficult to seek help. However, when I found Lorraine Greenberg, she not only made me comfortable, she became my advocate and actually empowered me to seek a fresh start. A smart, savvy and kind lawyer, I cannot express how easy the process was. I trusted her completely and she had my back. Now I am debt free and even able to save for the future and only look forward, not back. Thanks, Lorraine Best, Lynne W.

Martin is a very sharp, creative attorney who clearly cares about his clients. Perhaps his greatest quality is his candor: He doesn't over-promise, which I see many attorneys doing today. When a judge will ultimately decide, no one can guarantee what that decision will be. But Martin uses his deep experience to help set expectations around the most *likely* outcomes, while putting together sound strategies to try to get the *best* outcomes. This combination left me with a great feeling afterwards; I can only imagine how people feel when their attorneys keep telling them they will "fight for them, no matter what", only to be disappointed in the end when then get 70%, rather than 100%, of what they wanted. I highly recommend Martin; he will NOT let you down.

I recently hired Evan to work on collections at our office that have been outstanding for over a year. He collected 3 of the debts in the first week and is now working with our office manager bringing our human resource policies up to date. Evan is very easy to talk to, extremely professional, and eager to complete his work in a timely manner. He also stays in contact with you so you know what is going on with your case, which is a breath of fresh air from other lawyers we have dealt with in the past! I would HIGHLY recommend this lawyer to anyone that is looking for an honest, hard-working person that is an asset to his profession.

This man is by far the best attorney Ive ever worked with; And that's really saying something lol. I have over a dozen arrests, three felony convictions for possession and disorderly conduct, plus a prior dui and domestic conviction. The dui of which I was shamefully still on supervision for when I was arrested by the Streamwood police dept for dui and possession of paraphenilia and a controlled substance. The overly-high priced hoity-toity attorneys didnt even want to take my dui and possession case as they viewed it as unwinnable. Not only did Ron charge me thousands less than those guys wanted, but he won this supposedly "unwinnable" case. He treated me with respect, he was polite to my family members, and he leveled with me as opposed to trying to sell me dreams. He worked his tail off for me, took the case to trial for no additional fee, and won the case with flying colors. Because of my backgroud, I was facing a maximum of 8 years in prison and my drivers license was to be revoked for 3 years. Not only am I a free man today with zero new convictions, but I also got my license back. Very few atttorneys could have pulled off what he did, let alone for the bargain price he gave me. I highly recommend this man to anyone that finds themselves in trouble and needing legal representation. Out of all the attorneys Ive worked with over the years, it would be foolish to ever hire anybody but him.

I've gotten into a lot of legal trouble and dealt with a lot of lawyers. Faraz is the most attentative and dedicated attorney I've had. Didn't need to chase him down to get a hold of him unlike other attorneys, he is very responsive. He would reach out to me to give me updates without me asking for any. He's a great trial lawyer as well, has gotten me out of plenty of trouble. His attention to detail and creative mindset has saved me plenty of money I would have had to dish out the courts. His honesty was much appreciated as well when it came time for me to make a decision. 5/5 would definitely recommend.

I found Alex online and was very impressed with his credentials. (former prosecutor/ current criminal defense lawyer) I had a few different cases that I needed expert representation for. From the start, Alex was very understanding and clearly communicated costs and potential outcomes without over promising. In the end, he far over delivered on my expectations and truly did an amazing job - way better than I had hoped. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone who is in need of legal counsel. He will deliver the best possible scenario at the most affordable costs..

I found Jacki to be a diligent, hardworking and highly competent attorney who was also very personable and a pleasure to work with. She provided very thoughtful legal review and often identified legal issues that other lawyers missed, which could have been costly to the business. I enjoyed discussing technology matters with Jacki. She was always interested in learning more about the business side of technology and was very happy to help me better understand why certain legal issues, like warranties, indemnities, and licensing rights, matter more than others. She had a way of making complicated legal concepts simple. I really appreciated her teaching style because, the longer that she and I worked together, the better I became at negotiating deals. It was clear to me that Jacki has a passion for both technology and the practice of law. Jacki earned my respect with her strong work ethic and her commitment to excellence. She is trustworthy and dependable and did a great job for me during my tenure at the company. I can give Jacki my highest recommendation.

Mr. Szigetvari Esq. reassured me regarding my Divorce. He worked around my schedule, and even offered to set up an appointment on a Sunday. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Very understanding, and to the point. He does not 'Beat around the Bush', he tells it how it is without 'Sugar coating anything'. Mr. Szigetvari has and continues to go way above and beyond, to explain everything. He is very patient, and several times has repeated instructions as well as information so I understood 100%. He extremely punctual, and is in his office way before appointment was set up. His quality of knowledgeable experience in his field is remarkable! There is absolutely nothing that he needs any improvement in. The conduct of his knowledge regarding the law is phenomenal! I will refer any all family or friends that I have, if they need help regarding divorces. He is an Angel of Mercy!

What does an immigration attorney do?

Immigration lawyers help their clients through all phases of the immigration process. Experts on immigration law, they are legally qualified to represent U.S. citizens, permanent residents or undocumented immigrants. Immigration lawyers also provide assistance to visitors here on student, work or travel visas, and can represent clients who may have an expired visa or who have overstayed their visa.

You can hire an immigration lawyer to assist you with petitioning for renewing a permanent resident or green card, navigating the naturalization process, submitting an employee-based petition for a work visa, filing a petition for a family member, or representing you or a loved one who is facing detention or deportation, as well as replacing, extending or changing a current visa, green card or work permit. The immigration process is highly complex, with multiple hearings, paperwork and requirements. Hiring a legal expert to represent you can help you make your best effort in the process. When researching immigration lawyers, it is very important to verify their qualifications and find a reputable attorney. Read reviews and verify that the immigration lawyer is licensed by your state before paying any fees.

How do you find a good real estate lawyer?

If buying or selling property feels overwhelming and the thought of finding a good real estate lawyer seems daunting, you’re in luck. There are some simple steps to follow for finding a trustworthy, affordable real estate lawyer to help with your property and legal needs.

  • Determine what kind of real estate lawyer you need. Many states require a real estate attorney to handle sale closing documents. For more complex matters such as a real estate deal gone awry or foreclosure, you’ll want to find an attorney who has successfully handled cases like yours.
  • Look for online reviews of real estate lawyers in your area. Verify that they have proven experience closing or winning cases like yours and that they are in good standing with the state bar association.
  • Choose two or three lawyers to interview. Many offer a free consultation to learn about your case and provide information about rates. For standard real estate closing services, in-depth interviewing might not be necessary.
  • Ask about their rates and whether they charge by the hour or provide services for a flat fee. Ask whether a retainer is required, and what the total bill should be for a case like yours.
  • Ask for a write-up of the services that will be covered by the projected costs.
  • Make sure you like the real estate agent and they treat you with respect. Confirm whether they or another person will be working on your case and make sure you’re comfortable with all members of their team.
  • Pay the retainer and hire your lawyer.

What is a personal injury lawyer?

A personal injury lawyer fights on your behalf if you’ve been injured physically, psychologically, economically or in reputation. This injury may be the result of neglect or malicious intent of another person, or it could be at the hands of a business, government or other entity. Personal injury lawyers specialize in tort law, which is the law of civil wrongs like car accidents, company wrongdoing, unlawful imprisonment and more.

To become qualified to be a personal injury lawyer in the United States, a person must earn a bachelor’s degree, followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from a law school. Most states then require the person to pass the bar exam to become licensed to practice law. Unlike many attorneys who require a retainer, personal injury lawyers often work on contingency fees. This means that in lieu of payment upfront, they receive an agreed-upon percentage of the settlement in case of a win.

What does a real estate lawyer do?

A real estate lawyer represents their client’s best interest in all matters related to the sale, purchase and ownership of real estate. They are experts in real estate law. In states that require a real estate lawyer to close home sales, the lawyer must review and finalize all documents before the deal can be legally completed. Real estate lawyers also help clients legally protect their rights when entering, exiting or renegotiating a real estate deal. You can hire a real estate lawyer as an individual or as a business. A real estate lawyer can help with negotiation, addressing mortgage fraud, managing foreclosures and bankruptcy, transfers of titles and deeds, property ownership disputes, zoning issues, creating a co-ownership contract for joint purchase of a property, and much more. Real estate lawyers can also protect you from issues that result when a known problem was not properly disclosed by the previous owner. Overall, real estate lawyers are an added cost when it comes to buying and selling property, but they also ensure your best interests are met, and that you and the people you are doing business with comply with the law.

What kind of lawyer does wills?

No one likes talking about death, but it’s better than leaving your children or siblings to sort out your estate. A clearly planned will can make the time of mourning easier for everyone. An estate attorney will develop a legal will, create trusts on your behalf, and ensure the proper execution of your estate after you pass away.

Family attorneys and estate attorneys, also called probate and wills attorneys, can each prepare wills. The type of lawyer best suited to prepare your will depends on your situation. Most family attorneys provide services to prepare basic wills, including bequeathing property and personal items to family or naming a guardian for minor children. However, estate attorneys specialize in preparing wills in more complex situations. Consider hiring an estate attorney if you:

  • Have a large number of assets, especially those subject to estate taxes
  • Want to create a trust, such as allowing a spouse to live in your home until he or she dies and then leaving it to your children, or set up long-term care for a beneficiary
  • Have an ownership stake in a business
  • Expect someone to contest your will
  • Want to disinherit your spouse
Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
