Was a single mom with one son when I started in 1998 and trying to come up with something different when he was sick. So I had this idea of pet sitting pop in my head which I thought at the time I was having a great blond moment but found that there was already 50 companies out there. But reached out to a few and bought a few and from there I continue to push through this crazy/fun industry.
What types of customers have you worked with?
From clients with your average household animals to horse, pigs to then doing only House checks as their animals have passed and they hadn't gotten another pet. To administering medication to pet taxi to vet for treatment.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for years of experience, show proof of insurance and bond, if they say they have a license this in not true as our state has not made this a requirement. Important they have workers or another company that would be their back up for emergency or on vacations.
