Introduction: I just love design. All of it. I’m always on the hunt for a new pop of color, fab fabric, or unique accessory to reimagine a space. From a complete overhaul down to the studs to the tiniest tweak, I relish everything from the initial brainstorming meeting to the final finishing touch. I enjoy making the decisions my customers often dread. I'm different for a couple of reasons. First, my years as a professional communicator built skills that let me relate well to clients, communicate clearly, and be responsive. Second, because my design skills have been honed by practical experience, including years of trial and error within my own spaces and those of my family and friends, my process is very logical and approachable. Third, I relish the thrill of the chase. I'll work within any budget and from any stores. Fourth, I want you to love the process and the result. Paula is an excellent designer able to give a fresh look to an old space. She helped me with my living and dining room and did an amazing job! She is inspired by color and pattern and a joy to work with, whatever your budget she will find something to make it work. I highly recommend Paula for any design needs for your home!

I hired Paula Dupont to help me furnish my beach condo. I had a very limited amount of time before the first renters moved in. With her help I was able to furnish and decorate the whole condo (three beds, two and a half baths) in less than a weekend, and for a VERY reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone, even my picky Italian grandmother.

Paula did a wonderful job of designing and furnishing my mother's new 2 bedroom apartment in a senior-living community. Paula was excellent with incorporating modern details and new items along with antiques and key personal items from my mother. Paula was able to achieve just the right balance between new and old in the unit, giving my mother fresh new surroundings while retaining a feel of comfort from her long-time home. Paula has a keen eye for color and detail, is very quick and is right on budget. I would definitely recommend her services.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Read, read read! I'm constantly on HOUZZ, Pinterest, reading ARchitectural Digest, HGTV, etc.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love doing it -- and ran out of homes and rooms to do for myself. This led to designing and decorating (free) for friends and family ... And finally, after much urging from my two daughters and countless relatives, a business was born.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Stage a home to sell. I have fresh eyes and can see your space as a buyer would. Revamp a room. Accessorize to add some spunk. Consult on colors.
