Steve is the first hypnotherapist I've ever seen. He is one of the most sincere therapist's I've ever interacted with. He listened. I had an issue which had plagued me for nearly five years. I sought medical advice. I sought talk therapy advice. Neither worked for me. Hypnotherapy has some scientific bases. So as a last-ditch effort I reached out to Steve via Thumbtack. Steve got back with me quickly, was located near my home, and could see me rather quickly. We met once a week for 4 or 5 weeks then spaced our sessions further apart. Over the course of that time I didn't see a lot of improvement but I stuck with it. Keeping in contact with Steve outside of our sessions regarding successes and failures. He would always respond. I would give him honest feedback. Then it happened. The issue I had dealt with for nearly five years resolved itself and melted away. Hypnosis works and Steve is a great practitioner. Would I go back? Absolutely!
I struggled with anxiety for many years now and decided it was time to finally see a therapist. I was referred to Anita Groll by a friend of mine, and now, after the consistent sessions I have had with her, I cannot recommend her enough. Anita truly understood the problems that I was facing and experiencing and has worked with me to overcome the anxiety that I have had for multiple years now.

Myself and some of my ( immediate and extended) family have worked with several Juniper center therapists over the past 18 years. We have participated in individual and couples therapy, and some adjunctive limited group sessions. We have received wonderful, very professional, genuine and heartfelt care in all instances. I have been in the health care profession for 30 years in various capacities, including working as a health care advocate, and I know what good care looks like. My family continues to trust the care the Juniper team provides, and they are my first choice when I know someone seeking for a referral for psychotherapy.
Jade is a kind and supportive listener. It was through art therapy with jade that I felt empowered to delve into the arts, self expression, and being ok with all emotions. I highly recommend jade.
As a student of Thai massage, David was a wonderful and patient instructor. He made the course fun and easy. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who would like to become a massage therapist and or learn more about Thai massage and how it can enrich your life. Sheree Lauth MD

I received counseling and therapy for childhood trauma that I experienced 20 years ago. She helped me process through everything and make better sense of what happened. I learned new coping skills and have since had a huge reduction in my PTSD and depression symptoms. I always felt comfortable talking to Robin, and never felt judged. I've never been able to open up to anyone before, but she created the right environment for me to do so.
I use an integrative approach to therapy that is collaborative, solution-focused, and aimed at creating meaningful movement towards positive change. I aim to provide a safe, secure, and non-judgemental environment in which clients can feel free to openly discuss their thoughts and feelings. I believe change happens when knowledge and experiences are shared, through which new possibilities and alternative ways of being are highlighted.
I provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy. Although I have worked with many clients with varying issues, my specialties include issues of loss and bereavement, life-threatening illnesses (such as cancer), depression, anxiety, and fertility issues. I have particular interest in working with suicide survivors (individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide), families dealing with grief and loss, cancer patients, young adults dealing with illness, and couples dealing with fertility issues. Since much of my focus is grief and loss issues, I have the most experience with clients that are in great distress. I strive to concentrate on the present, focus on the future, and explore the past to understand current behaviors and coping. I create a safe place where clients can focus on their goals and acquire more coping tools to adjust to life changes.
I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I approach all clients from a solution focused approach, building off of the positive attributes that each client brings to therapy. Working in this collaborative manner provides an opportunity for faster personal growth and greater success from the counseling experience.

I utilize an integrative style - applying a variety of approaches to best meet the needs of each client/couple and their concerns. It is my belief that the counseling process is one in which all parties are actively involved. I recognize the need for flexibility and creativity to address the mind and body. My approach focuses identifying physical cues, recognizing thoughts, considering consequences, implementing solutions, choosing behaviors, and promoting expression.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been a social worker for over 25 years. I have worked with many different populations. I love seeing change in people. It fulfills me to be a part of the change process. I have added Life and Parenting Coaching to my practice in the past 5 years. Coaching is highly motivating. It is typically a shorter term, faster paced process than counseling. A little about me.....I am a special needs adoptive parent. I have four children by adoption. Three of my children have special needs. I have experience navigating the special education system, residential placement system, in-patient hospitalizations, home based services, etc. I'm also a devout sports mom! I have an active, loud, happy family. We also rescue dogs so we have rambunctious dogs added to the mix! I currently work full time in a prison. I spend the majority of my time helping inmates find meaning and purpose in their lives, despite their long sentences. It is immensely rewarding to help these inmates move from despair to hope and to be a part of that process. I also maintain a small counseling and coaching practice in the evening and/or weekends based on schedules and child sport season. I am dedicated to my clients and I will help your realize your dreams and goals! I work to help adults achieve and maintain their goals. It is so easy to lose yourself in the busy-ness of life. Balance is the key to maintaining a happy, healthy lifestyle.
