- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask a lot of questions in order to get a feel for what she's interested in. Then I can tailor the products I use and talk about to her personal style and needs. I love building strong relationships with my clients! Most of the women I've worked with stay in touch with me even after their event because we become friends through the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every winter I attend a training seminar with a celebrity makeup artist to keep updated on current products and trends. I also attend and lead monthly product knowledge and makeup application training events -- I love staying current and so do my clients!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If the artist you're talking to don't know what you're talking about or aren't at least willing to find out, they probably aren't all that interested in finding what you personally need. Make sure they take the time to thoroughly answer all of your questions and cover all of your needs. And if you're not happy with the provider, keep interviewing and doing trial runs until you find the right match :)
