- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
At a recent wedding, the time schedule was getting very tight and the bride decided to forgo getting a picture of the the two of them reading their vows back to back. I talked to the wedding planner and asked her to have the groom ready in the next hall behind one of the large wooden doors. Moments later I asked the bride to follow me for one more picture before the ceremony started. When she got there and figured out what was going on, you could tell a weight had been lifted off of her shoulder as this picture was very important to her. They silently read the vows the other had wrote for them as I, just as silently captured the moment. This turned out to be one of the brides favorite photos in which she took the time weeks after the wedding to email, and thank me again for not only taking her ideas seriously, but doing so in a way which was completely transparent to her, letting her truly relax and enjoy her wedding.
