Our project required Modern Living Design & Build to clean up and complete a job started by a family member who was not a professional in this type work and left finish trim uncompleted. John's people came in and went above and beyond our expectations. They did it all-even things we have not discussed to make our cabinets look perfect. They were professional, efficient, congenital and finished sooner than we had anticipated. And the price was fair. To say we are pleased is an understatement - we are delighted!

Had a project of needing to get some concrete anchors inserted in a wall to hang exercise equipment. Roger responded to my inquiry, not immediately but a few hours after my initial effort to contact him through Thumbtack. After some discussion and at one point me forgetting to respond for several days, we eventually settled on a date and he came out to do the work. He came right on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to troubleshoot some weakness in the concrete and get the equipment placed just as I had hoped. He also helped troubleshoot a stuck window with me and resolved the issue. It seemed as though this was a smaller project for him as his team has done projects as large as constructing a $2 million home. He notes he was not always the cheapest, but he definitely did the job correctly. It was $180 for just under 3 hours of work. I would hire him again if I have another project that I want done right.
