- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First, make sure your therapist is certified or licensed and legally able to work in this profession! Massage is part of the health industry and requires knowledge and understanding of the human anatomy, physiology, & pathology. So it's imperative that your therapist has that knowledge and is certified by the State of Indiana! Secondly, if you are seeking Massage for health reasons, it's a great idea to make sure you are cleared by your doctor. For example, if you just had surgery and in pain, please consult your physician first. Prenatal clients, it is contraindicated to massage you during your first trimester. So please wait till your 2nd trimester in order to receive a massage. If you are a high risk, you may need to consult your physician as well.
