Introduction: I have a degree in Art from Indiana University. I travel all over the country to continue training with the best decorative artists in the country. I am trained on many professional line products such as Faux Effects, Modern Masters, Granicrete International, DesignCrete, and I am a CIR for Country Living Magazine's line of products, Caromal Colours. I love creating. I also love re-purposing existing cabinets and furniture. Duplication of wall paper finishes, stone and wood finishes is my specialty.

Shines Studios put a great wall finish on our dental operatories. I get comments on it all the time. If we end up adding more office space we'll have her back to refinish the remaining operatories.

I hired Sarah to refinish my kitchen cabinets, which were solid but very old and outdated. Sarah showed me many samples and helped me pick a finish that would work for my project. She had them refinished in several days and even replaced all of the outdated hardware. She did a fantastic job and I get compliments on my cabinets all the time. The best part is that it was only a fraction of the cost of replacing them. I would highly recommend Sarah for cabinet refinishing projects.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a Bachelor of Art. I come from a family background of furniture refinishing and plaster restoration. I wanted something that I could make my own schedule and truly be happy doing for a living.
