Brenda is an awesome teacher. I grew continuously during our time together. If you are looking for singing lessons, look no further. Brenda is the teacher you want.
We aren't meeting until July because of my schedule not hers. She's been great to work with and get a date scheduled. I'm looking forward to my daughter taking piano and voice lessons with her. I couldn't be more thrilled. She responds quickly. Such an answer to our prayers for my daughter.
Singing lessons for my daughter who is 8 years old and she absolutely love the teacher.
I am taking voice lessons and truly enjoying them; Carolyn is an excellent teacher!
I am a third year student studying at the University of Cincinnati: College-Conservatory of Music. I couldn't be more thankful for the time in which I had my lessons with David. Truly, if it weren't for his help, I wouldn't be in music school today. David is not only incredibly talented, but is also an incredibly versatile and personal individual. One of the best things about David is that he always goes the extra mile. He won't stop at simply training your voice; he will tackle your fears! If you're afraid of singing or playing in front of people, he's going to find a stage to put you on. He could have stuck with just performing, but to put it simply, David is the type that can't resist sharing his knowledge with others. I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking lessons in the Indianapolis area. 5/5
I am a guitar/voice student with Bart at Reno's and he's great! I call him "The Song Doctor" because he revives songs I bring in with technique and great ideas! He is an amazing guitarist and patient teacher, even when I struggle. He knows music theory well and can teach this knowledge in an understandable and interesting way. Lessons are fun and non intimidating. Reno's Music is cool and I always feel welcome.
Ms. Johnson is a graduate of Jacobs School of Music which is very impressive. She was punctual in replies and willing to work on a time schedule. She has an impressive background and I look forward to working with her.
David really helped my daughter. We had had voice teachers in the past but I felt like she was only learning songs. David helped her become a real performer. David is always professional and very reliable. My daughters singing range has really increased and is able to sing songs she never felt possible.
Aaron Chandler has my highest recommendation as a guitar teacher. He is, first of all, a highly skilled and experienced guitarist who can play impressively in just about any style. A former Jacobs School of Music student, he also has a thorough knowledge of music theory and is highly skilled at explaining even baffling theoretical complexities in a way students can understand. Most importantly, Aaron teaches his students how to practice effectively. You learn how to improve on the guitar. His students can reach any goals they set for themselves if they’re willing to put in the work. Aaron is also extremely patient. He tailors his teaching to the student. He is approachable, flexible, and is willing to take on just about anything a student is interested in. I've learned a tremendous amount from him & can play things I never would have been able to play before. ReWind Bloomington is also a great space to rehearse. It’s really the only space of its kind in Bloomington.
What a great lesson! It was fun, entertaining, and educational. Renee immediately put me at ease, made me comfortable and we got right to work! Cannot wait for the lessons to continue!
Sabrina is teaching piano to my Kindergarten-aged twins. She is great with young kids and their parents. She's very flexible with her teaching, willing to adapt to the style that fits them best. The lessons have included a conga drum to learn keeping time, as well as opening up the piano to show how the inside works. The learning environment in her home is very relaxing, and helps to calm my very energetic boys. When my boys do get distracted, she can effectively rein them back in or use their curiosity as a teachable moment when appropriate.
Punctual on texts, ph. Calls. Easy to work with setting up sessions. No actual lesson yet. Brad in NW indy
Me and my teachers teach lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and violin and offer "musikgarten" and yoga classes. We also rent out a space for events.
I am a first year master's student in voice at the Jacob's School of Music. I also hold a Bachelors Degree from the Jacob's School. I have much experience with the voice based on my own years of technical and performance training. I am willing to teach most styles including classical, musical theatre, or jazz. I am willing to teach any age from children to college students. Teaching location would be at the Jacobs School of Music.
I offer private lessons in piano, voice, and flute for beginning, intermediate, and high-school homeschool choirs and elementary and high-school hand chime choirs.
I am student at Millikin University, taking a semester off before I student teach to become a choir teacher. I will help train and educate you in your own voice. Learning to sing is not just about technique, but it is about love and knowledge of music itself. During our lessons, we will discover the history, theory, anatomy and other skills that will help you become an all-around better musician.
I teach private and small group piano, general music and music theory lessons. I have been working as a professional musician for over 6 years. I work with adults and children who are interested in learning music in an inspiring environment.
I am a vocal coach and piano teacher with over seven years of experience working with students ages 11 through 60 with passions ranging from musical theatre to classical piano. In vocal lessons, I specialize in personalized technique and interpretative lessons with an emphasis on healthy singing. My piano instruction focuses on progression through proper technique and integration of music styles across classical and modern genres. When not teaching, I am a professional vocalist and fundraiser in the Indianapolis area.
I have maintained a studio of dedicated students who are pleased with their progress and happily continue their studios. Their successes are a reflection of their hard work and the knowledge I give them.
I feel that my welcoming personality and enthusiasm for sharing what I know are two things that set me apart from others.
Angelica is a talented musician with over 15 years of experience. She is an accomplished flutist who has played in many bands and symphonies around the Bay Area in California. Angelica recently graduated cum laude from San Jose State University with a bachelor's degree and teaching credential in music education. In addition to playing both flute, voice, saxophone, and piano, she recently toured with the San Jose State Choraliers (vocal ensemble) in Europe. Ms. Angelica's goal is to provide students with a quality education through performance opportunities and musical discipline while incorporating music fundamentals and theory. She strongly believes that students should experience a very positive yet challenging environment in order to inspire greatness.
