My experience with Mark as been just what I had hoped and more. As an adult student with no formal training I was thrilled to find the reviews on Thumbtack about Mark were true. I have enjoyed my lessons so much, Mark is extremely knowledgeable, very patient, and has a flair for teaching the guitar. The lessons are always light and fun, he truly cares that you also understand the instrument. I feel he gives so much because he truly cares for his students, loves teaching and the guitar.

I worked with Mike for nearly 5 years at our local music store, both of us giving guitar lessons. He actually taught me how to do guitar harmonies, and vocal harmonies when we both had some down time. He's a very good teacher and a Hell of a musician.

We aren't meeting until July because of my schedule not hers. She's been great to work with and get a date scheduled. I'm looking forward to my daughter taking piano and voice lessons with her. I couldn't be more thrilled. She responds quickly. Such an answer to our prayers for my daughter.

My daughters are 7 an 10 and have taken piano lessons with Son for over a year. They absolutely love her and always look forward to the lesson! They have learned so much because she is so knowledgeable and passes her love of music on to her students!!

Awesome!! I cannot say enough about our experience, so far. My son is 8 years old, and after a long day at school, his attention is all over the place. Mr. Cogswell is so patient, persistent, and encouraging with him. He, both, interacts with and teaches to his young age perfectly. It’s also so much fun for my kiddo to see the older students who have lessons before, or after, him. He knows that Mr. Cogswell can get him there, too. He’s just got practice and keep at it. His home studio is professional, and still welcoming. The waiting area is great for parents to there to watch and listen, but with my son’s back to me, it’s like I’m a fly on the wall. Can’t say enough. I recommend him, very highly!

My 10-YO and I are both taking lessons from Phil. Over the course of the past 2 years we've found him to be consistent, caring, and constructive. We never feel rushed during class and always leave with specific and constructive feedback for improvement. I'm particularly impressed with his pacing - sometimes my child gets frustrated and wants to quit. He changes up tactics/homework so guitar lessons continue to be challenging, yet FUN. He's in it for the long haul - knowing he is creating and strengthening a love of music in kids....and adults!

Stephen was awesome and we could not have been happier with his contribution to our big day. Our ceremony and cocktail hour music was wonderful and he worked with us to put together a playlist that matched the tone and style of our wedding perfectly!

As an older student that had piano lessons as a young person, I have found Diana to be a wonderful teacher, patient, organized, qualified. Lessons are full and leave me enthusiastic for the next lesson. Bravo!

I am a third year student studying at the University of Cincinnati: College-Conservatory of Music. I couldn't be more thankful for the time in which I had my lessons with David. Truly, if it weren't for his help, I wouldn't be in music school today. David is not only incredibly talented, but is also an incredibly versatile and personal individual. One of the best things about David is that he always goes the extra mile. He won't stop at simply training your voice; he will tackle your fears! If you're afraid of singing or playing in front of people, he's going to find a stage to put you on. He could have stuck with just performing, but to put it simply, David is the type that can't resist sharing his knowledge with others. I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking lessons in the Indianapolis area. 5/5

First meeting he was very polite and ready to teach. Willingness to teach a person with no experience. Played some of his own music. Great style of teaching.

I am a guitar/voice student with Bart at Reno's and he's great! I call him "The Song Doctor" because he revives songs I bring in with technique and great ideas! He is an amazing guitarist and patient teacher, even when I struggle. He knows music theory well and can teach this knowledge in an understandable and interesting way. Lessons are fun and non intimidating. Reno's Music is cool and I always feel welcome.

Miriam has been teaching our 6yo piano lessons for about 6 months. Miriam is very patient when my daughter gets distracted. She keeps good record of when and how much we have paid. We have been very pleased so far and our daughter is progressing well. Oh, and she has been very flexible when emergencies or sickness has come up and we needed to reschedule a lesson. Timothy was my violin instructor as I started off with lessons as an adult in my 30s. I really enjoyed working with him, as he made me feel comfortable while learning. Although he works will all ages, he was able to take the material and make it consumable and rewarding even as an adult student. Overall coming from an adult student with minimal music theory and new to the violin. I could not recommend Timothy enough for any age looking to learn or improve technique.
